Adorable!  I've been waiting to see what the interrupt would be.  Pretty sneaky Shep, but Kaidan looks intrigued.

I just want something, anything involving Kaidan. I mean, they have to know that the VS has a big fanbase. I always see people tweeting about them, yet BioWare never responds. I just dont understand.

I think you were completely justified in this! The VS situation is like having a conversation with someone who only wants to get their point across.

I kind of feel bad for Liara because of her pose in that statue. Asari armour fetish site.

I saw that statue earlier on facebook, I have to give the sculptor credit for the details on the armor, but the face doesn't look much like Liara ... even if you'd take into consideration that it should be more like ... anime Liara I guess
the pose is ... well ... not much to my liking; I just don't like that overly sexualized stuff - regardless of gender *shrug*

what we may lack in number, we make up with dedication!
hey, 17% isn't that much either you know ... *probably should shut up about that in a thread about a character which so far is officially only an LI for femShep*

I have said before, and I was never sure if it was my imagination mind you - I'm paranoid - but I really get the impression a lot that the current Dev team doesn't really care as much about Kaidan or Ashley (since they didn't create them, or weren't at the core of creating) and really want to write/draw/promote their own characters.  They'll use them to drive their overarching story somehow and call it "good enough."


... I also like to joke that Walters hates Ashley because she killed Wrex, and Kaidan gets roped into that as part of the VS package.  But that's mostly joking.  XD

And I too think it's about time Casey stops avoiding everything about the VS. I know this whole thing about not giving away too much info and all since there's still a long time to release but it's getting ridiculous!

I agree. Good detail yet...perhaps a bit silly with the pose.

At least we can look back when the game's released and be satisfied that we tweeted Casey Hudson until his eyes bled from our persistence.

I shudder to think how true that statement might be.

But then again, when it comes to Ash and Kaidan--their shared animations/dialogue on Horizon, the fact that there was no Shadow Broker dossier for them even though all that would've required was a little paragraph of information--I'm pretty paranoid, too. I'm so afraid of Ash and Kaidan being sidelined in ME3, and Bioware has done little to calm my fears.

Oh man, I for one will not let that go. Pretty much every time Kaidan's popularity proves Casey Hudson wrong (like the fact that he had more fanart than Tali at Comic-Con) I was right there going, "See, Casey? See? Kaidan is loved! Kaidan is very loved! Love him!!!"

I mean... that comment was just so uncalled for! Kaidan has lots of love, but then the executive producer calls him out and says, "Yeah, there's some love for Kaidan, but not a lot."

I take issue with that statement, sir.

I was perusing the old ME1 forum archives before BioWare took the site down.  Kaidan got a lot of love before the game was even released.  He got a lot of hate, too, but he had something like 10 support threads of 100 pages each (all locked for length).

And there seems to have been a lot of "Shenko" fanwork activity, enough that people were complaining about the volume of it.

"Not a lot" by ME2 standards, maybe.  But what do you expect when a Character Generator (even as sucky as Genesis) comes out a year late and everyone is stuck with default choices?

He should show remorse about that comment with some screenies or a vid vid Kaidan! 
But guess that's just wishful thinking
