Finally an easy choice. Kaidan wins anyday.
I've never felt anything towards Shep as he is the player controlled character.
The only cute point for Shep (Sheploo) is the ME2 power selection screen. Handsome guy, but not for me.

As for Shepard... Well is totally my kind of guy. But I can understand its a personal point of view.

Well, what Beep said > Shep is player controlled, it would be different maybe if this wasn't an RPG game.
But i never played as mShep myself. Still, not my type, probably because he looks too perfect and lacks asperity (i'm really talking about the 3D model here, not Vanderloo).

Absolutely, a matter of perspective it is. I honestly don't find Kaidan cute. Plus i hate the "cute" adjective in general. Kittens are cute. Kaidan is not. BUT i'll admit he had some cute moments indeed, but those are the ones which i dislike the most. To each his own Kaidan

Sorry, no.

Shepard and Kaidan are both very attractive men. Both have qualities that I want to seek in a partner, but it really depends on who could handle my wacky personality. I can be sophiscated and philsophical, somewhat cynical procrastinator (like right now when I should be researching for an essay due in two days.), but I'm quite childlike and tend to speak without thinking and tend to be unmotivated.

So yeah - whoever can handle my personality and light a fire under my ass to get my job done is the one I'd go with.

As for which boyfriend I'd choose, Kaidan wins by VERY FAR. He's romantic, loving, extremely good looking and caring, like, he's always worried about hurting someone else's feelings, that's just too much cuteness, I'd be in love instantly.

That's really a tough question. I really don't know who I'd choose. I think I may be slightly leaning towards Shep but Kaidan's pretty solid. I love how down to earth he is. It's tough saying Shepard cause everybody's is different. I'd say both but we know how Kaidan would respond to that <_<

Hell, it's ialmost outright stated here that Kaidan and Shepard are sharing a bed anyway - probably been sharing one since the Citadel date scene. What's frustrating is that you can call just about everyone else up to your cabin but not the love interest.

Hell - I would have prefered if you could call the VS up as soon as they get back on board, they come up and they talk about... I don't know, what they did while Shepard was dead? something like that and at the end of it, the VS would leave but leave something along the lines of inviting Shepard to the Citadel, which leads into the date scene and talking about the future of a relationship if one indeed exists between the two.

Not a game producer or designer (I'm a graphic designer, stuck in communication design. Shoulda picked digital media in hindsight.), but I am a notice writer, and a pretty damned decent one if people on the Ash thread and some on fanfiction.net are to be believed. And if I were in charge to the writing, That is what I would have done. Not blow all my funds on that damn blue chick that I'm forced to carry along for the ride and forced into being the friend of even though I flat out renegade the bithc for the previous two games. I would not put her on the f*cking party at all! Hell, I'd leave her rotting carcass on Hagalaz if I could!

They are both spectres so having Alliance regs is moot

Actually, I use "cute" as the opposite of "badass"
Both are sexy, but not the same way - the two are complementary.
That's why mShep/Kaidan is just the perfect romance.

Kaidan is charming, and something of a nerd. (By his own admittance, he's read a lot of romanticised space soap operas growing up.) It's something that my Fem!Shep finds adorable - and is a source of teasing, despite being a Sentinel into Firefly herself.
