It's just a matter of taste and of personal projection. I only find his cute moments attractive because i see him on the other hand as mainly badass indeed. What appeals to me the most in Shenko is again not the cuteness, but the mature and realistic relationship.

For instance, I didn't like his puss-in-boots look from the evac scene, nor the nodding from post-Virmire ME1 or Leviathan, i thought it was a bit creepy because out of the Kaidan i fantasize and also because we're hitting the uncanny valley here.

If we're talking about pics, I've totally said before that i found helmet Kaidan pics cute.

As for Shepard... Well is totally my kind of guy. But I can understand its a personal point of view.

Well, what Beep said > Shep is player controlled, it would be different maybe if this wasn't an RPG game.
But i never played as mShep myself. Still, not my type, probably because he looks too perfect and lacks asperity (i'm really talking about the 3D model here, not Vanderloo).

Absolutely, a matter of perspective it is. I honestly don't find Kaidan cute. Plus i hate the "cute" adjective in general. Kittens are cute. Kaidan is not. BUT i'll admit he had some cute moments indeed, but those are the ones which i dislike the most. To each his own Kaidan

Awww, thanks!  And @dstrawberrygirl too, I'm glad you all enjoyed it .  It was an awesome trip - and the Bay really is beautiful, as you can see by the pics.  Had a ball writing the story too - it is far closer to the truth than you might imagine .

I think it's more about Microsoft, I read that somewhere.

In ME1, I tried the Gay mod (recorded in my youtube if you never saw), it's not really a mod since like 90 % of the romance is voice acted. And, in the final romance scene, Shepard actually says kaidan ^^. I got some ma'am now & then, mostly when someone acknowledge an order or finish a discussion, but not that often. Only problem is that you see fem shep in final romance in bed and heard her voice 3 times (in Eden Prime with the becon, the citadel rescuing the doctor & mission while saving Liara).

I really hope that someday, Bioware will make a Mass Effect tilogy & resore the gay romance in ME1 :x

Like Beep I had been romancing Steve when Kaidan's face model (Costa) surfaced, it also rekindled my interest in Kaidan romances.  Not that I had lost interest in Kaidan, I was just on a PT with Steve.

I am quite happy with what they have done in ME3, gratitude to people who petitioned to BW for Kaidan's availibility to mShep

However, I have no intention to do a modded Shep just to romance Kaidan, the damage is done
