@devsin Really weird right? :'D Hmmm but I have a theory why this occurs, I'll try it out later. Still updating that max banter guide (for the first mission at least).
Cool. I have a bunch of stuff to do early, so I won't be up for long (ideally), but I look forward to reading over the banter guides tomorrow.

For the endings, most of my Shepards picked destroy based on their principles, not because they wanted to live for Kaidan.
I'm not happy about being locked into destroy, but I don't see any choice (I don't consider the opt-out to be an actual ending, even though it's the only one where Shepard stops being a tool).
I never had any Shepards evil enough to pick control (one or two who may have considered it, but I don't think any would actually choose it), and after the extended cut, I simply cannot pick synthesis. It was already unbelievably offensive, and then they made it downright creepy to boot (and it's such a
spectacular feeling that this is the ending they consider to be the right one and that synthesis will be a part of any game that's set after the events of ME3).
But the good thing with having universally crappy endings is that there's no real need to try to advocate any of them. You can pick anything you want; it's all basically the same. ;-)

Oh and while I'm on my chatter about Kaidan kick... You are not going to believe what happened!!! When I got to the part where you get to chat everybody up before the final push, Kaidan was missing! I was all nooooooooo fortunately I have gotten into the habit of converting autosaves immediately to numbered saves so I loaded up the autosave and phew he was where he was suppose to be. Him not being there was very stressing though. Dang invisible Kaidan bugs!
Yeah, I remember some bug way back at release where Kaidan was vanishing from the FOB for some people.
Luckily, he's always been there for me. It'd suck to get to the ending and have Kaidan disappear on you.
It's fortunate that you're a smart saver! :-)
