I reloaded the game. The ship was too empty without a crew.  

Actually, on my first candid run, I rushed to the collector base and saved everyone, but then you're on a timer and some missions expire. I reloaded, finished all subquests, headed to collecotor base and everyone had been processed but Chakwas... In my defence, I had already received ME3 by mail, and just wanted to see Kaidan asap. So I just accepted it as my Shep's fate. Poor Chambers just got on my nerves the minute she said "You can call me Kelly".

Seeing his face when the seeker swarm grabs him is just priceless. That's the only thing I find funny about him. And he isn't really needed in ME3. Just as pointless as he was in ME2.

when the crew are kidnapped, you have a mission timer

Head to the omega relay having done 0 missions - all live
Head to the omega relay having done 1-2 missions - half die
Head to the omega relay having done 3+ missions - all but chakwas die

Mmmmh, my Shep is the type to say from the ME1 opening scene > "You're Alliance soldiers, act like it." to cut the chatter between Kaidan and Joker.
So although she had just been brought back to life from vaporization and 90th degree burns, she still thought she was on a military ship, not a Cerberus one and she likes discipline. So she didn't like Chambers being so familiar and casual with her.

As for myself, i don't know. Maybe i AM heartless. But i don't hate her per say, i find her annoying.

My Kelly died too, NOBODY TOLD ME I couldn't do missions after they are kidnaped, and I still had to do Legion's loyalty thing. I was shocked.

Recuses Liara, rights Krogan battle master, but before the fight i pick the renegade option and shepard says something about fighting, Liara's biotic's glow, preparing to fight. and i was like "oh sweet she helps if you do this"
battle starts... She's in her normal place doing nothing.

Never had problems with Legion's loyalty mission since I always do everything (every sidequest/DLC/etc.) before Reaper IFF.

Do all the ship upgrades and the available loyalty missions before the Reaper IFF mission. There is no timer until the collectors attack. IIRC, you can do Legions loyalty mission before they attack.

But Beep, we first meet Legion at the end of the Reaper IFF mission. I did every sidequest before Reaper IFF, too, except Legion's because he didn't even exist.

Jinx... we said pretty much the same thing. I forgot to mention DLCs, but I save Arrival until after the SM... it just seems better that way.

You can do Legion's loyalty mission after the IFF mission without penalty. There's no other way to do it. You just have to do everything else prior to the IFF.

EDIT: Thin, you must have landed on a planet somewhere after that.

But doing every side quest / main mission / DLC automatically makes Legion to give you his Loyalty mission and so on. To me the Collectors attack always right after Legion's mission.

Yeah, we've got to do it right after the IFF, but I forgot to turn Legion on and went on the next story mission, then the Normandy was attacked and I did Legion's loyalty after the attack .

Oooooh, i missed all the trailers, marketing and advertizing stuff...
I've been through the original ME1 website the other day, Kaidan isn't mentioned anywhere, not even in the characters section.
