I was wondering, since I've never managed to play a Renegade Shepard, does the Romance differ in any ways from a paragon Shepard (text, cutscene etc?)

@Gabriel (sorry your screen name is difficult to remember ) > well the scenes themselves aren't from what i know, but you get different lines obviously. You should try that, Renegade answers don't necessarily mean being mean to Kaidan, but you may fail to lock the romance - ask the mShep experts here (cause you're mSheparding, right?).

Yes indeed, I'm playing Mshep. So playing a renegade mShep might lead to no Romance with Kaidan?? :s Not Sur I wanna try it then. I was more wondering if, has beeing renegade, Mshep would me more "brutal" ine the romance, things like that.

No not yet. The pic is from a previous ME3 playthrough. Just finished ME2, I really love the music in the suicide mission, and all my squad made it out alive  (again).

Now I've got to muster up the courage to play ME3 again, knowing what happens to Shep.
I'll definitely take some more pics and I bought Leviathan too, so more Kaidan

You can romance Kaidan as a Renegade, but during the date pick paragon options

(also note, if you're renegade to him on mars and hospital, his "trust meter" will be low so convincing him during the coup will be harder then normal, if not impossible.)

Oh yes, that's why I warned you - but again, i'm not the expert on that.

But the romance scenes, sexy times and such, they're "technically" exactly the same

Renegade mSheps, please answer roivasff14 > how far can you be Renegade on Kaidan in order to romance him? Not sure if laikabaws as a guide for this...

Well, I am greatly annoyed by Liara's canonical powers, but i actually think the Virmire choice is one of the most powerful and smartest feature of the series. Unfortunately, the decision Shepard had to make was not carried on as well as it could have been from ME2 onwards, but i love it that this kind of choice existed in a video game.

Actually, I really thought the Suicide Mission was gonna be exactly that, a breathtaking series of Cornelian dilemnas, for instance >
a . you sacrifice Thane during the mission because he's willing to give his life anyway because of his disease,
b. you find a cure for him, but then another random squadmate dies.

What they did to ME2 characters, was the worse imo. They could have at least accessed a glorious fate.

I agree with you there Mimi, the Virmire choice was a very powerful one in ME.  That kind of decision should have been part of the SM and final London missions.  It's been said they wanted ME2 to feel like that movie, "The Dirty Dozen".  Look at how many of that dozen does not make it back from the mission.

Maybe i should try a Renegad MShep from ME1 since  I can able the gay mod :s
I Liked take the renegad option in the last line of the romance in the cabin in ME3, Shepard got "that" look saying, hu hu, you're in trouble mister Kaidan^^

Absolutely, and yes you're right! They DID refer to "Dirty Dozen"  (John Cassavetes), talk about a suicide mission... I think i've read statistics somewhere about that, i think it's 90%+ people who save them all.
