I hope they can pull off a great new Mass Effect game. I can "forgive" them for ME3 endings, and the EC helps with that, but I can't forget.  BW was the last game company I had blind trust in, but now that's gone, I will judge each new game as it comes and hold my purchase now until it's released.  It's the same policy I have with other game companies now.

I think the next ME game and/or the next game from this team is going to be a lot harder to sell to me than I had previously thought.

I meet the news of there being a new game with a surprising feeling of disdain. I look at it, and there's a genuine lack of interest or excitement—I just don't want anything more from them.

I thought I would be fine with new games (barring the one exception I noted previously), even if they weren't an automatic buy, but now it seems that maybe I'm not quite as at peace with the ending as I was starting to believe.

In particular, I'm not sure why everybody always talks about the First Contact war.

Neither am I. it IS a very short conflict, with very little losses. Where first humans shot turians while those were like "WTF?!", then turians shot some humans and took over Shanxi and then came Council and told everyone to Make Peace.

The only style it can be done - DA2 style, without "outer global sh!t", and focusing on personal matters, and with "non-hero" Hero.

But I doubt that may 1. work well second time(because it obviously did not work for majority of Great Evil Fighters even once) 2. fit MEU.

I already said that and I may only repeat - they only have one logical spot for another ME full-scale game - "Shepard dead" two years.

Whatever happens, I am thankful for all the people who made Kaidan possible - even if I feel he was some sort of happy "accident", and @Kaidan > I'm glad I had you and Kaidanites in my (gamer) life.

Dev, I agree, it's not something I'd want to play but I'm sure they could find enough material for a game there. The only thing I'd actually enjoy in a new ME game would be what Nrieh suggested. A game taking place in the 2 years Shepard was dead. Specifically, with Kaidan as the protaganist. Would be interesting to be in his shoes for once.

I'd be conflicted though cause the whole time I'd want to romance myself...

I agree... but then I would want to see this as a DLC. Not sure how this would work if it was an actual game..

1. Oh I found it before. Just don't ask me why Kaidan is running around butt-naked. Although I might add he really looks real in there.
2. Favourite Renegade moments so far? (Apart from hitting the scientist on the head?)

Hey, so, honest question.

Are you guys okay with Kaidan just having a default alliance outfit in the game? I mean, I didn't even notice till someone pointed it out in a thread I was in.

Are you all annoyed he didn't get his own outfit, or okay because it's more realistic (alliance uniform)?
