Seriously? You all say people are welcome because it isn't your thread but when somebody mentions about off-topic stuff you all try to shut them down. Talking about non-Kaidan romance stuff is not what this thread is for, some of the things being discussed here are also being discussed elsewhere, that's the place for them. Do whatever you want because you obviously don't care that somebody has to slowly thread there way through all your chatter to get to Kaidan stuff, that they might be interested in. I'm done trying to let you all know that your hijacking of the thread is unwelcoming to those who are here to see and talk about Kaidan. I won't be back. Enjoy "your alls" idea of a Kaidan thread.

I think he's smoking because he is playing poker, alot of my friends rarely smoke but will smoke a cigar when playing poker.

Oh I have a question I haven't played ME 1, 2, and 3 with the same shep. I've played 1 and 2 with the same shep and then 2 and 3 but never all 3 since I changed systems with that said, is there any banter you lose when missing out on ME1 for the PS3. I know with the interactive comic book you choose Kaidan but from ME1 to ME2 there are little things you miss out on getting a beer with the receptionist chick from Noveria....is there any lines you miss out on by not playing ME1...?

I've been considering rolling a femSehp, try to have her renegade romance Kaidan in ME1, Garrus in ME2, then back to Kaidan.  So I can see the changes to the story by "cheating" in ME2.

From what I was told, most (if not all) of the plot/dialog changing decisions are in the comic thing for the PS3 version of ME2.

I'm sorry but you did not cheat on Kaidan they way he treated me after all we been though broke my heart!!! He doesn't deserve my love if he can't look past my "employer" and still love me, Shepard's personality never changed s/he is who s/he has always been a defender of the galaxy and is only working with cerberus because they actually give a flying fandago about what is going on in the terminal system! /rant lol

I'm happy with GW2 too (playing it every day a lot), but because I heard that song, I had strong urges to play Portal.
I didn't know what Black Mesa was until today. I got curious since Portal refers to it a couple of times. Including that song. I may try it too at some point.

That's why I put "cheating" in quotes, I too don't think it's really cheating when Kaidan metaphorically slammed a door in my face on Horizon. He made it clear he wanted nothing to do with my Shepard. I think it was partly fan reaction that brought Kaidan/Ash back like they did in ME3. I get the feeling that the origional intent was to have Kaidan/Ash in ME3 but like more like Wrex as a non-squaddie.  I coudl be wrong though.

I've remained faithful in other PTs, and I do forgive him before the SM mission. I like the scene where you look at his picture, but I want to try it from another angle next PT.

I've tried renegade before on a Sheploo but could never do it, maybe as a Female Shepard will break that cycle.

BTW, I moved to your server in GW2.  Not that our time-zones make it easy for us to play at the same time. 

As for Black Mesa, it's a fan-made remake and free so only the price of your time to downlaod it.

I can confirm that If you have the DLC with the comic in ME2, then you can make the choices of choosing between Kaidan/Ashley over Liara, whether to kill Wrex, save the council (all the important decision).
Otherwise, you just get the default decisions of a dead Wrex and Kaidan was saved (if you choose FShep, vice versa for Ashley).

I knew they'd come back, but I'm not sure they planed to have them a squad member. I remember the uproar during ME2's run about Horizon. It's just a feeling I got back in the ME2 days by how BW acted.

Never did a Sent in ME2 or ME1... but I liked my Sent in ME3.  I also used Reave as the bounus power.

Taking a break from Resident Evil and zombie killing in general~

Do it~ Just for a different perspective. It's worth it--a "what would have been if I were a douche" kind of thing. There are also some dialogue changes worth checking out (well, at least for me because I'm just curious like that). You'll get to romance Kaidan in the end anyway :3 I kinda regret that I didn't renegade romance Kaidan in ME1 all the way~

It depends whether they willl fanservice DA2 haters or simply make a good game. I hope for latter, but do not build expectations too high. So far DA2 took firm top position alongside ME1 in my personal top videogames list. 

 
I'm with you; hope they make a good game, combining the good parts of DA:O and DA2 seamlessly like they said. Hmm, I guess I'm cautiously optimistic than cautiously pessimisstic then (expectations in normal range after that ME3 fizzle)  For me, DA:O takes a top spot with ME1 as my most fave game though, not that I hate DA2 at all. DA2 has its charm, and I'm particularly fond of it (Hawke most especially). <3

Tech armour in ME2 quite good because after you get a set amount of damage it gets destroyed and restores half your shields.

never tried it before.
