For someone who has read subs his/her entire life, they won't even realize reading subs so it doesn't get distracting. That's the case for me, at least.

Humm.... when i was playing ME1 i noticed Kaidan always had his salt and pepper look, just that in ME3 it was more clear.

i only noticed when my camera did a close up on kaidan's head while at the citadel.

  Jungle World was one possible fate for Kaidan, the one that's my head-canon. But in a alternate univrse there are other possibilities.

I could see Kaidan growing close to Liara or even maybe Tali. I can also see him growing close to Steve. I do not see him jumping into any relationship too fast, this is all after ME3's end where Shepard would be gone.

If the question is, who'd Kaidan romance during ME3's timeline if Shepard had another partner? Then that's more complex, was he the romance in ME1? Who, if anyone, did Shepard romance in ME2? Those answers, plus more questions, all would lead to an answer.

I believe it was: Yes to a ME1 romance with Kaidan, Garrus romance in ME2, and that Shepard would remain with Garrus in ME3 but still have feelings for Kaidan. In that case, to me, I could see Shepard gently pushing Liara & Kaidan together. Not 100% sure anything would come of it but I'd wouldn't want him alone, even if he doesn't date anyone.

I can't picture Kaidan if anyone in a world where Shepard is dead, taht' pretty much Why i can't choose any other ending than destroy :x
Kaidan is for me the kind of guy that will stay faithfull tothe one he loved till he dies :x

Also, how could you have voiced lines for romanced Kaidan in ME 1 ? I mean for ME1 gay mod you just have to find the not implemented files, in Me2 to upload the ME1 career... But they didn't recorded Mshep voice just for modded games did they ?

Most of the romance is voiced, the missing part, you read them activating subtitle, the game actualy show them, you can see this in my youtube chanel, I play ME1 with english voices & english sub, ME1 have no french sub :x

In my mind, I see Shepard wanting Kadian to move on and be happy. In my head he leaves as message for Kaidan telling him so.  I too see it being hard on Kaidan, but evetually his heat will mend and he'll fall in love again. Not the same of course, love is always differnet, he'll always love Sheaprd but he'll find someone eventually. I could see it as Liara, she'd want to make sure Kaidan was OK becuase she's nice and a good friend to Shepard.

Yup. He even sends you the message in ME2, but he did a typo in that since he refers Shep with the word "woman."

Oh, yes. That's how I think they'll end up eventually when my Shep is too "busy" with Kaidan.

Thanks hon. In that case I might consider doing a male Shep with Kaidan playthrough.  I admit, I love Garrus, but my heart will always lie with Kaidan. 

Edit actually having looked at how to shift things around to make Shep and Kaidan get it on in me1, I'm not sure I want all the snags that come with it... Maybe I'll just play loner Shep til 3 then get him with Kaidan...

I'm with you I love Garrus but my heart belongs with Kaidan, but I have done a playthrough where I hooked up with Garrus, mind you I play on PS3 so if I start ME2 I have to make decision in ME1 and I cannot kill Kaidan I've tried and tried but always pick Ashley, and I always have my priceless moment with Kaidan before Ilos however when he smacks me down in ME2 I ran to Garrus for support and romanced him and just kept that love through ME3; hopefully Garrus is ok to always being second to Kaidan.

That's what I mean, in a world where Shepard died, he/she left a message for Kaidan to be delievered if Shepard were to die telling Kaidan not to feel guilty and that he/she will always loves him and be waiting for him, but still wants him to be happy, to allow time for his hart to heal yet still find happiness again with another, someday.

My thought fits this fan-fic I found on Tumbr, "Remember Me Well" Caution it's

I think all the romances they made were "acceptable" for various players.  For me personally?  

mShep with Kaidan or Steve mainly.  I really liked Miranda, Liara, and Tali, but I got to the point of considering them as friends and companions than a love interest.  I did have a Shep that romanced Tali and Miranda but he went for Kaidan in ME3.  :happy:

I recommend getting the Genesis comic - that way, you can keep Kaidan alive and go ahead and romance Garrus without guilt. I had to do that for one of my sheps, and she had a lovely romance with Garrus, and a solid friend in Kaidan. In 3, she continued with Garrus, and I never felt like Kaidan was left out - they were still close friends.
