I don't like the thought of Kaidan without Shepard either.
But there are so many things that time can heal, even if you linger on them.
I wouldn't like Kaidan to feel guilty about falling in love with somebody else, Shepard would want him to get a chance at being happy. It wouldn't make his love for Shepard less valuable or meaningful. He would never forget about Shepard.

I'm far from native speaker, but love this spelling, same as I adore all sotrs of jabberwoky and playing with words. Those are very hard for exact translation, but if you can "get it" - you enjoy it. And this one is a really good example. 8P

Just a bit of a study break~ I'm not much of a native speaker as well, but "affect", well at least in psychology, means one's general disposition or mood. So I guess Mess Affect means you got messed up...mood or something hehe  Cool wordplay though
