Taboo, as an artist yourself, you know that a piece of art can be interpreted in different ways. I saw it as a "pre-lunch date" piece where Kaidan is contemplating what he's going to say to Shepard. However, I can also see it as a post-ending piece where Kaidan in flashing back thinking of Shepard.

Neither one is right nor wrong and someone else may yet see it differently.

I was just joking. I should have posted a  to clarify. Come off it sounds a bit frank and I aplogize for that.

I saw him as totally having the hots for Shepard and not knowing Shepard felt the same way!

For some reason, I can't see married Shenko - I mean I don't see as far as that - but yes, why not?

Mmmmh... I think that I'd like him to borrow from proposal rituals he would have discovered around the Galaxy.
So rather than the usual ring thing, I love to imagine something more exotic, and also... much more simple, symbolic, which would still bear a mystical value to it.

Maybe, he could take Shepard to a place of rituals on some planet, where aliens go to propose...
And he would only tell the story about the symbol of that place once the both of them would have gotten there.

So after telling that story, Kaidan would say that's the reason why he brought them there: "What do you think, Shepard?"

And then Shepard would chuckle and just agree to link her being to his forever.

How would Kaidan propose > Simple really. walks up to shepard. Slaps them around the face and say "Marry me B***h" (this is obviously a joke)

I didn't buy ME3 until April.
Plus by then i spoiled myself and found out the fate of all characters.

okay i didn't actually do that. i only looked at "who's a squadmember" and if Kaidan wasn't one. i would of looked it up why he wasn't one.

Completed Commander Doodle Shepard today...

Even with only talking to Tali and Kaidan and only bringing Kaidan and Tali on missions. i still get...

Kaidan proposal: Well I don't see him making a big production out of it, because I don't think Shepard would want that. I imagine them going someplace scenic, and then Kaidan gets all nervous and cute and stumbling over his words and can't quite spit it out, and then Shepard just goes "Kaidan? The answer is yes."

Three-months after the war ended, Shepard was finally released from the hospital. Many months of physical therapy remains, but he was well enough to go home. Kaidan's mother insisted Shepard stay at the family home with her, while Kaidan was off-planet regularly doing Spectre work.

Five-months after the war, the ground breaking of the Reaper War Memorial was conducted in London on the remains of the Conduit site. Shepard and Kaidan attended the ceremony, and demanded that Ashley's name be included in the list.

That night Kaidan had arranged a big dinner with the Normandy crew, Admiral Hackett, Shepard's mother (Spacer background), and Kaidan's mother. Kaidan was going to ask during dinner but while he was getting dressed for dinner, Shepard noticed the sunset that night was beautiful with deep reds and purples reflecting off the high puffy clouds. "Kaidan, you've got to see this!" Shepard calls excitedly.

The wonder in John's voice brings Kaidan out quickly to investigate. Walking out on the balcony just as Shepard is pouring them both a glass of wine. The view takes his breath away "Oh John, look at that sunset." The moment was so perfect, stepping next to Shepard he takes a glass, both embrace while they look at the horizon. Deciding the moment is prefect, he pulls the ring he hid in his pocket, turns to Shepard and pops the question.
