A quick google search reveals... nothing! Looks like last year's VGAs were such a disaster they haven't said if they'll be doing it for 2011?

Hopefully, Casey will stick up for Kaidan next time someone tries to bait him into saying that Kaidan is unloved.

Hey guys - long time lurker, first time joiner-in, just needed to say ^^, Kaidan only got nuked by 1 of my 9 Sheps - and that was only for science as I want to see Ashleys part in ME3, wether i romanced him or not I love the guy and couldnt kill him!

They certainly didn't get it from my stats either. I *never* Virmired Kaidan. Not once. Poor Ashley wouldn't exist for me at all if not for Genesis...

I've never understood the "shared accounts" arguement. What, do they only count your first playthrough or something?

And I thought they only collected data from ME2? What about people who didn't import/use Genesis and played a male? They automatically got Ashley. What about the PS3 players who didn't use Genesis and played a male? They also automatically got Ashley. What about all the ME1 playthroughs that aren't imported into ME2? How many of those people saved Kaidan?

Seriously, too many variables.

@Chylise, say you have a couple who own one Xbox and the Gold account is one name (ofc) and darling husband plays on the Xbox more than dear wife, he kills Kaidan every time.... Say he has played 10 times and she has played once, she loves Kaidan as much as he loves Ash/Liara but has only played once... That's 10 nuked Kaidan's and 1 nuked Ashley counted.. Not one Ash and one Kaidan (not a one man, one vote kind of thing) So obsessive male gamers could well be skewing those figures... ¬_¬

Seriously, too many variables.

That's been my issue since the beginning. Bioware can't just assume that "most people nuked Kaidan" when they specifically force male Shepard to save Ashley in ME2. According to their "stats," over eighty percent of players play male Shepard. That's a serious swing in Ashley's favour, but you can't discount Kaidan because of that. It's not fair to either character to do so.

No offence to obsessive gamers but if the stats are to be believed only 20% ish of us are female so we have a smaller number to start with and will logically have a reduction in the % who have played many times....

Is it really so small a percentage of female gamers? Huh. Well, I think that stat is growing and will only enlarge as time goes on. I see more chicks around my age in the game stores all the time.

well, since he specifically talked about nuking Kaidan, I'd assume it concerns player data from ME1 where you activaly made the choice

and I have a fair share of playthroughs and aside from some male Shep tests who may also have romanced Ashley or nuked Kaidan for non-romance Ashley VS in most of my playthroughs Kaidan is the VS, not to mention that I level my characters up for proper imports into ME2, so that's 3-4 playthroughs until I'm ready (2-3 quick ones for XP and free morale points and 1 complete for the import) ... so are you saying they should only count 1 of my playthroughs?

I think it's important they count each playthrough even if that means that if someone played through 20+ times and nuked Kaidan 20+ times

it's done in one of my other styles ... I still need to do the ME2 squaddies before ME3 is released
