*sigh* That's what I get for wanting a single Shepard to romance Thane and not cheat on Kaidan.

That makes me weep tears of blood. You are stronger than me; I can't do it.

It's even worse after that because he won't automatically start into his stories or worries for Shepard, you have to ASK him about them, and he stops calling you Shepard, just starts calling you Commander again.

I'm sorry, it's midnight here so my brain is a bit fudgy, but on the topic of statistics: I recall that they track how many imported games, so I really seriously doubt that any sort of defaultShepards are counted into the statistics when it comes to who got Virmired.

This may be true, but at the same time, we're talking a game with 80% male demograhic. That takes a HUGE part in the fact Kaidan is less times saved than Ash.

I think whenever I make my manshep for Ashley, ill cheat on her instead of Kaidan, I just couldnt do that to him. That way, ill know what happens and still have my heart intact

Edit: Jenova, I was just thinking the same thing about Fenris, I couldnt do it. It broke my heart just to watch the video on youtube.

I did that once too, just to see...reloaded, of course.

Ya know, it's funny. I absolutely adore DA and can't get enough, but I would kill every character in DA before I would consider hurting Kaidan. Huh. I guess the DA characters are ones I love to play with, but Kaidan is one that inspires the deepest devotion and loyalty.

Well that's good to know! .... I think.... no, it is good to know that Kaidan data is not skewed by default ME2, even if it shows that more people saved Ashley.

I wanna see these ME2 stats, by the way. The only ones I can find came from September last year, and that was before the PS3 version came out. (Yes, I know they can't import on PS3, but does Genesis count?) I doubt some of those stats are the same as they were last year.

You know, as far as these "stats"; I gotta say although there are 80% male gamers, that doesn't mean they all like Ash. There are more than a few that really don't like her character. Plus, they've got Liara to LI.

Maybe BW can get a very rough idea stat wise, but not nearly enuf for them to be touting their stats.

I think tho that Casey was really just having some fun. Not in a mocking way, but rather maybe even he couldn't believe how often Kaidan got nuked.

(To tell you the truth I want Ash to make some kinda reappearance in ME3. I hated killing her. She was alright ppl. We didn't see eye to eye on some things, but she was good ppl. I liked her. I want her back in ME3. Technically, we never saw her get nuked......and there was all that time while we were messing around w/ Saren. You never know. Maybe she got knocked out...and then rescued by some shuttle. It could make for a great story, as in what she's been doing all this time. Won't hold my breath for it, but would love to be surprised! "Hey, Skipper! You're not the only one that can come back from the dead...."

Seriously though, it would be more impactful if you had to choose between some fan favorites, rather than lesser loved characters.
