I suspect that there was only ever one Collector ship. The Collectors, being puppets of the Reapers, were likely after Shepard for relatively self-evident reasons. Re: TIM and Shepard's death, that's a fascinating theory.

Hey Dude! What's up?  Um..one Collector ship? But they seemed so surprised to find out it was the same one that blew up the Normandy. Although, in game...I don't actually recall there being more than one Collector ship.....hmmm.

They met and then, boom, two days later they're in love.

I recently read an interview with Raphael Sbarge in which he talked about how sexy the Kaidan/Shep relationship was, and compared it to sneaking into the back room to make out and then coming back and saving the world. That kind of sums it up.

Exactly. It lacked...a certain tension. 2 ppl attracted to each other, yet in a situation where that is completely frowned upon. And build up is important to me.

My Shep is a Sentinel and a colonist. So she and Kaidan would have little biotic tech-geek babies. <3:D
Unless family genes come in to play and they just have little farmers.

@katie No one makes Kaidan cry.  They'd have to answer to my Shep...so, she would be in trouble with herself.

I really don't think that Bioware would be that cruel.

No way they would pull "indoctrinated Virmire Survivor," especially when they promised to reward those of us who stayed loyal to our ME1 love-interest...!

I haven't done the Garrus romance, really not interested in it.
Done Thane as my cheating-to-see-what-happens play through and enjoyed the romance.
And have romanced Jacob once on PS3 and once on 360 with a single-made-for-Jacob-Shepard (only able to because of Genesis)
Kaidan is still the very best, though I would not complain if we get some of the romance we got with Jacob, he gives a damn and cares about Shepard as a person and you can go and kiss him whenever you want post suicide mission

Hey guys and girls, just delurking to say thanks. Real life has been rather stressful lately (still is but less so) and I just wanted to say thanks for all the wonderful Kaidan related goodies that you guys have posted, they kept me sane and relatively cheerful, plus it’s nice to know I’m not the only female totally crazy over a game character!

So that Kaidan ey? He’s pretty special and awesome and just generally rather perfect.
So um.... yeh... carry on!

Kaidan and Jacob are my fav LI:s so when there is someone else who likes them both I'm just so so glad. I think that Luke Kristjanson did such a great job with the writing of them and hope that both of them will get some material for ME3. I'm a little worried about Kaidan but at least he has been mentioned so at least I know that he will be back for my two Kaidan-faithful FemSheps. But the those two that romanced Jacob.... if Casey says Kaidan get's little love I don't even want to hear what he will say about Jacob. Feels like I should be lucky if we get some time with Kaidan, hopefully not Kaishly and perhaps a postcard from Jacob with a promise to swing by the Normandy the night before the big boss....

I get that since there are fewer players for FemShep then it's pretty much follows that there are more players who choose Kaidan as their VS. I hope that they feel that all the LI:s should have equal time and attention. This is a nice little corner of the forum and I swing by every now and then. The Jacob-thread is also a very nice little place but I wish it was as active as this thread.

Mine too in Mass Effect
Like the letter from Zevran at the beginning of Awakenings.............. NO WAY Zevran would allow anything to separate him from his Grey Warden, especially under such dangerous conditions.
The Jacob thread is full of nice people, but as you say very quiet... it has a quiet dignity about it, given the cr*p Jacob takes on the rest of the forum.

@CaseyDHudson: I was referring to the ME1 Virmire choice. It doesn't change our approach though - Kaidan is a big part of the trilogy story.
