For maleShep or for your hubby?

And no matter how many biotics they throw at us, Kaidan will always be special and rare! I just want a scene where Miranda gets all high-and-mighty (I actually lke her btw) until she realizes that Kaidan's biotics could smash her into a gooey mess:devil:

Goo was all I got out of that. I play a lot of D&D, and we call getting one-shotted getting "Gooed". So I have mental image of Kaidan one-shotting Miranda,

I like how we went from Bald to Biotics. See, this is  just how quickly we can swap subjects here.

I think Kaidan is more of a controlled biotic/person then that. smashing people into a pulp is more of a Jack's thing, I could see Kaidan juggle atlas mechs though. heck after throwing around Armatures in ME1, Atlas mech should be child's play.

here's an idea for badass scene. Shepard is besieged by altas mech, out of thermal clips, the teammates are out cold and medigel is low. the mech is getting so close, you can almost see the driver cackling in delight - and suddenly... it gets enveloped in blue, lifted into the air, and casually hurled away, and then we hear Kaidan's voice. "need assistance, Commander?"

And we were talking about fashion too XD

Though, anyway, I think the only reason why we saw so many biotics in ME2 is because Cerberus has a serious fixation with them (look at Jack-- she was a result of their experimentation.)

...speaking of which, Normandy's explosion had to result in some Eezo exposure. (Even though it may not do much to adults, but that's definitely something Cerberus wouldn't ignore.)

Also, was it ever actually established (or am I going crazy) that Cerberus is responsible for all the Eezo exposures in humans? (If so, I wonder how Kaidan would feel knowing that his powers are because of Cerberus D:)

I wouldn't put that past Kaidan to do that. I could easily rely on him to suddenly have something floating over my head in ME1. "Hi, Kaidan. Thanks, Kaidan. *blinkblink*"

Yeah, that's why I said until she realized, not that he would actually do it. I just remember all those lift/throws when we were planetside. By-by bad guy, mind the landing...eventually!

Efffffff, that's why I love him. He and my cannon Shep are a Sentinel dream team.
*snip cool pic*

But yeah, that's probably why people quesiton his badassery.
So a cut-scene of him kicking ass would be PERFECT. please, BioWare?

Mine too. Since I tried playing as a Sentinel, it's become my favorite class, and Kaidan is the PERFECT support. I had a hard time finding anyone to equal his level of usefulness in ME2. I literally can't wait to have him as a squaddie again. :o

Very true. You can't judge a thread by just a few pages. ^_^

By the way. I have created an album for the Spectre scarf knitting project. XP

(I'll get back to drawing Kaidan, just needed to do something in the meantime to destroy my artist's block!)

Love this thread. The dashing quills of insight and frivolity. Snakes & Ladders of projected fantasies in art. It's pleasurable to be mesmerized by his character's powerful inspiration which arouses, so fully, affirmative ambitions in so many.

You're welcome to the patterns! :) I was working on a different project when I suddenly thought of the patterns and it was like "Oh wow, why didn't I think of this sooner" kind of thing~

I couldn't agree more. I also think it's a tad counterproductive to talk about Kaidan smashing Liara or Miranda into "a bloody pulp". I, for one, sure don't like it when others talk about wanting their ME2 LIs to beat up Kaidan or have a catfight with Ash.

Kaidan displaying his biotics in a cutscene would be the perfect ME3 intro for him! I'm a little afraid that the cutscenes will downplay (or outright ignore) his biotics because he'll probably have to share a lot of his animations with Ashley, like that scene on Horizon.

But Casey's "Kaidan is a big part of the story" Tweet has given me more hope. We might yet see Kaidan's biotics come into play!

Oh, thanks! I knew it looked off so blank like that XD (Yes, I went "derp" because I wasn't sure if the spectre logo looked okay to me but I finally decided that it was as close as I was gonna get XD)

Sigh, I forgot about that part. I would just like to see some neat combat cutscenes that aren't "pew pew pew!"
But yeah, that tweet is a good sign.

Agreed x1000. I want to see something unique and distinctly Kaidan, not "Swarms of alien bugs! I know, I'll shoot at them! 'Cause that's what Alenko is know for! SHOOTING THINGS!"

It's certainly is but it's owned by the speaker and is a vent of possessive jealousy. Kaidan should understand this, in the case of Shep's moving on, and he shouldn't react violently or react in any way, he should think first and then act. Keeping his emotions checked, particularly after his mistake on Horizon. This is more fitting to my understanding of the character which, admittedly, isn't as throrough as most here.

Besides, both of he and Shepard will have bigger things to focus on.

Agreed. I don't necessarily think he made a "mistake" on Horizon, but he did let his hot-headedness show, which he has kept in check since what happened with Vyrnnus.
And I think he realizes that he just got too emotional on Horizon and blew up at Shepard, shown by his email. So I don't think he will lose control of his temper again in ME3, having learned from his "mistakes" on Horzion. Unless Shep does something reckless and stupid again. <_<

That would be an excellent introduction.  It's powerful, but not brash or boastful, and having a similar line as that would add a touch of humor.

A silly question to toss about: do you think they will write in a change in Kaidan's implant?  Maybe give him an L5 or whatever would be next?  He was resistant to it when Shepard mentions it in ME1.  If they do, how would it affect his character?  He's known for being a stable L2, and for having migraines.  If that was eliminated, will it take him off the chain, so to speak, so that he would truly not hold back?  Would it diminish him in some way?

@Pax of Doom I think maybe you could upgrade Kaidan's inplant through research like you did Jack's . But I don't think it would really change his character because even in the original Mass Effect he told someone in the elevator at the Citadal that he was having less migraines so, I don't think it would deminish his character at all. Of course that is just my opinion and I am slightly drunk so hmmm who knows lol. Please excuse all the grammar and spelling errors I am sure to have made.

You're absolutely correct about my error, Caseshep. Thanks for pointing it out.
"Mistake" I was using as a descriptor of what I thought were the assumptions Kaidan made about Shepard's motivations. I see what you're saying, he was acting on the information he had and Shepard's silence. My view is changed, "outburst" would have been a much better and more accurate descriptor in place of "mistake".

Would BioWare allow or make Shepard do something stupid and reckless? Never!

Good question! I don't think they'll change it...If Kaidan has been adverse to it for so long, I don't think 2 years would have changed anything. He has a bit of pride about being a stable L2. So even if he gets headaches, he'll deal with it because the "stable L2" has become such a big part of him.

"I've got a few scratches and dents. I just hope they give me character."
Also, "I'm 32, Shepard. You don't serve as long as I have, without coming to terms with yourself."

I think those quotes fit. =]

I know what you meant! Just stating my opinion! =] You're right, Kaidan did make assumptions, but I believe at least one of them was right. (The one about Shep feeling like s/he owed something to Cerberus. My Shep just didn't think so at the time, but she realized that Kaidan was right about it.)
I certainly didn't like him jumping down Shep's throat, but I understand why he did.

By what I said above I don't think they should axcually change Kaidan from a L2 Biotic.

About Horizon...I asked my fiance what he would think if I showed up after 2 year alive (when i was presumed dead) and working with a known terrorist cell or whatever. He basically said he would be suspicious. but want to believe me. But honestly I think he would totally be crazy, So I understand where Kaidan is coming from. It seems most people don't put themselves in Ashly or Kaidans place and just decide that what they say is wrong instead of thinking how they would feel or what they would think in their place.

Sorry that I suddenly showed up after months in lurking.

I have no idea whatsoever where to get a first post on page pic or how to do it so sorryPosted Image.
