You'd think I'd like him more with a tight light armour, but the heavy one has it's own... appeal. So to speak.

I like him better in heavier armour, too. Both of his ME3 designs look great in my opinion.

I'm probably an anomaly, but armor is armor... I'm not sure I care what it looks like.

OMG Yes! I can't express in words how happy I am to see him in heavy armor! Hell I've thought seriously about moding ME1 to allow him to wear heavier armor then the PJ party light armor thing. He is a marine for godsake, give him lotz'o'armor. But then again I'm a fan of heavy armor. I also don't really find it 'hot' to see men in so called sexy clothes. Tight pants and speedos make me laugh out loud. Give me t-shirts, baggy jeans, and combat boots anyday.

I like him better in heavier armour, too. Both of his ME3 designs look great in my opinion.

Agreed. I don't care what type of armor he's wearing (light, heavy) just as long as they look like upgrades due to his recent promotions. His current design looks like he's getting ready for serious business. (I liked how in ME1, he'd wear ship blues casually, but be wearing armor when outside of the ship. Jacob and Miranda constantly being in the same casual sort of armor threw me off when out and about. No biggie -- it was what it was.)

it depends on the armor: I totally dig the Spectre armor that we saw in the promo shot and concept art, the alternate appearance thingy? ... not so much

About armour - I'm a huge fan of detailed armour - just love to stare on all the little elements. Kaidan's ME3 armour is both unique (so I didn't stared at this before:P) and have very large number of details. My favourites are belt and gloves. And shoulder pads. And sides. Aargh.

Also, about the armor:

Personally, I prefer the sleeker look of the light armor, but I can see why they made it bulkier I guess
