This shot of Shepard with her arms crossed is part of the scene with al-Jilani (this is the orginal one I did with my own Shepard, Kate and posted on the ME2 KAST thread ).  This was Kate's ME1 team and hopefully will be again in ME3.

@Criz_Zone Was having fun with how most players say they nuked Kaidan (stats confirm it). But we love him, and I know many players do too.

*sigh* Dismissive as ever! I dunno. Maybe I'm just being cynical. I do feel a healthy amount of spiteful glee that Kaidan is winning in the latest incarnation of fave romance poll.

I swear I read that they didn't have ME1 metrics around the time of the ME2 data being revealed, but I don't remember where.

... although I guess it doesn't matter. People can love both Ashley and Kaidan and still have to go through Virmire. If you assume Kaidan isn't loved because someone loves Ashley slightly more, that's a fallacy (as much as assuming someone liked either because one lived); and it completely tosses Virmire as intended to be a hard choice.

Whew! Unable to log on for a few days and the thread explodes! Finally caught up. LOVE the new thread name, especially for all of those who think Kaidan is a wuss.

My ME1 dream team (since my main femShep is a pure soldier) was Kaidan (Biotic heavy) and Garrus (Tech heavy). For ME2 I can't help gravitating towards Tali and Garrus, as they were the only ones that made me feel...centered. I knew I could fully trust them. However the derelict reaper was never as easy as when I took Mordin and Wr...uh I mean Grunt.

I never really warmed up to Ashley, there's just something about her that...meh. However I finally managed to make a manShep that doesn't look awful (seriously, I CAN NOT make a decent looking guy in ME) and I plan on romancing her, so hopefully she'll grow on me.

Have you read all the fics in the recommended section in the first post?  My current obession is Manipulations by akg.writes, but for long form, already finished fics, I would say try Iunctio by sinvraal, or any of JaerWolfe's fics, if you prefer shorter, episodic stories.

....yeah, the lack of Ash/Kaidan DLC still chafes my hide. I don't think I'll be able to let that one go until ME3. ME3 will make it all better, 'cause... you know.. Kaidan's going to be this HUGE and INVALUABLE part of the story, right...?

She's an actress who I think became famous thanks to Buffy, the vampire slayer. I stopped watching by that point and didn't discover her until her youtube series "The guild" as a former WoW player, I found those series utterly hilarious and then of course, there was Dr Horrible's sing along blog (which IMO is a must to see).
She's currently also in some show on TV, but I don't really watch TV much, so I could tell you nothing about it. but in general, she became "One of us" thanks to "The Guild"

Felicia Day is an actress who is often hailed as a goddess in geekdom... Almost like Jennifer Hale.

But yeah, she's getting a Dragon Age DLC staring her own character. Meanwhile, Kaidan and Ash are wondering when their turn in the spotlight is going to come...

I have such high hopes for Kaidan in ME3... He needs to show up in promotional material or something... Please, Bioware? Pleeeeease...?

I thought it was a live action movie, rather then DLC? either way, I could actually turn it to Kaidan since there's a fanart on DA featuring Kaidan and Shepard in DR Horrible tribute, but Kaidan is in a very unfaivorable role there... so I won't >_>

Where?? Is he Captain Hammer? (Oh God, he's not Moist, is he?)

My understanding is that she's going to be in a live-action webseries starring her own character, and this new DLC also stars that character, presumably as a way of introducing people to the webseries.

indeed he is..

huh... didn't realize that her elf is going to be a star of DLC as well... that puts a whole new lighton that coming DLC and why it had Merril's clan heraldry all over the scenery...
