You and other faithful romances want huge faithful romance conclusion at the expense of friendship path and s/s romance.

Perhaps you may want to hold off from making blanket statements like that. Thank you.

Hush you.
Dont you know that anything NOT rabidly for S/S romance is against it?

I mean really. <_<

Oh, but let's make blanket statements about s/s supporters.

And when did that happen?

Right there Sia.
You just need to level your paranioa up to level 9,001.

That's only cause you're around, dude.  You terrify me.

Oh really? Then why did you jumped at me at my counter-argument in which it would be the faithful o/s romance not getting 100% of attention so friendship path and/or s/s romance could also be expanded/implemented?

One of my Shepard's has an awesome bromance with Kaidan. It takes coaxing to talk with him as opposed to the romances, but the dialogue with him is pretty deep. He actually mentions how a migraine hurts, and I get a different vibe from that friendship path than with a romance path.

I just hope to see that different vibe and detailed (yet different) dialogue for all relationship outcomes.

why do I get the feeling that ever since Casey's "There's some love for Kaidan, but not much." got clarified and he's no longer the boo-man we can all hate on, people in this thread are at each others throats all the time ...
I'm tempted to tweet Casey again, asking for a statement that can be misinterpreted, re-establishing him as 'the common foe' <_<

EDIT: typo

The statement seemed to apply that people who argue for s/s romances are 'rabid' and fail to see a middle ground.

Has Kaidan even been confirmed as a s/s romance yet?  I personally hope that he isn't.  I don't mind admitting that yes, I'm selfish.  My Shepard and Kaidan have history and I don't want to see it reduced to a 'generic' history with generic conversation just to add more romance options for him, whether it be s/s or a new romance.

Kaidan isn't confirmed as s/s romance, but in ME1 game there were a voice samples ( if I good remember) with Kaidan/MShepard romance, also there was info that it was cut off from game becouse of some reasons. Those facts are probably the source of rumours about Kaidan being s/s romance.
Anyway, even Im hetero,I don't mind if he will be s/s in ME3. I would just be happy, if fShepard/Kaidan romance and s/s romance will be completly different, not just this same dialog options.

not relaly.  there is dialogue from shepard only, its a copy paste of femshep romance (and femshep dialogue in general where maleshe tells Liara he's a woman, and threatens harkin for calling him a princess)  exactly what happen and why it didn't happen is described in link in my signature.

and that's all I'm going to say on the matter, I've been in this debate one time too many and I believe my opinion on a subject is known well enough.

EDIT: typo

From what I've seen, people on BSN tend to be at each others' throats once for a while (the first ten pages of this thread may be an example). Lack of news doesn't help at all - old info gets rediscussed, and old arguments pops up.

That's sad.

Let's talk Kaidan bromancers (as in friendship) here for a moment. They got shafted in ME1 and ME2. How's that fair hmmm? Why don't they deserve to have as much content as you hmm? Why exactly should you get more content again in ME3 if you already got more content then bromancers in ME1 & ME2?

Again, do you really want it if it would be a halfcocked thing that would break continuity for players that have had the buildup for 6 years? It's not the players fault that s/s was taken out. I agree you should get a shot at it (if they are planning that) BUT they should do it properly or not at all if you ask me.
If you want to rage about the s/s being taken out from the start, the fanbase is not the place to do it, not like we wished it away and made it so.

But I wasn't talking s/s romance in the part you quoted and responded to, I even 'as in friendship' specifically to make it clear I'm talking friendship with Kaidan and how it was shafted compared to romance iwth Kaidan in ME1 & ME2.

Haha, Gene Roddenberry had the same sort of idea, even a utopian society needs a common foe.  Maybe we can provoke another video game journalist?

I do think that the s/s discussions will continue to pop up until the game comes out, and even then, there will be discussions of how it was implemented.  It's a hot button topic, and people get passionate about it.

I will say that I do agree with this:

I didn't try any of the ME2 romances available to female characters, because they didn't appeal to me.  I'd be THRILLED if they announced f/f romances with characters I already know and like...but if they end up being unsatisfactory, then it wasn't worth the trouble.  I'll keep hoping that the writers are getting it right, until the game comes out and I can see for myself.

Oh hey, woo, other people grew up on C64 too XD

Casually ignoring the whole debate because you know what, I believe that being at each other's throats is rather divisive and we should really ought to unite in our shared love for Kaidan and continue to support him.

TL;DR:

What I said is "anything botched is bad" in essence, if you took the time to read my entire post.
I see how i misread what you said but in essence it doesn't matter. It isn't fair, anything botched is a freaking waste.
You want things to have volume don't you? Otherwise any inclusion of 'something new' aside from 'something old' would be a total waste and unsatisfactory. This is the entire point.

Being in the category of "never have and never will romance Kaidan," I support whichever option will produce more overall happiness. Though to be honest, I doubt that additional content would ruin the potential of a "faithfu" story; there's only so much detail you can put into one romance when the galaxy is burning anyway.

LOL!!! First game I played was PONG on our Atari back in '75-76 with my brothers. We could play that game for hours. And yes, I am avoiding the debate as well.

I hope for the fans Kaidan, for femshep the devs are writing good dialogues, I wait so many long time the come back Kaidan with Shepard.

And I hope for finale, I will not be disapointed for the final episode.
