why do I get the feeling that ever since Casey's "There's some love for Kaidan, but not much." got clarified and he's no longer the boo-man we can all hate on, people in this thread are at each others throats all the time ...
I'm tempte to tweet Casey again, asking for a statement that can be misinterpreted, re-establishing him as 'the common foe'
Haha, Gene Roddenberry had the same sort of idea, even a utopian society needs a common foe. Maybe we can provoke another video game journalist?
I do think that the s/s discussions will continue to pop up until the game comes out, and even then, there will be discussions of how it was implemented. It's a hot button topic, and people get passionate about it.
I will say that I do agree with this:

I'll try to make this clear as possible, IF they can make the romances unique and make them feel special then I'm all for it. IF they can't then don't.
I didn't try any of the ME2 romances available to female characters, because they didn't appeal to me. I'd be THRILLED if they announced f/f romances with characters I already know and like...but if they end up being unsatisfactory, then it wasn't worth the trouble. I'll keep hoping that the writers are getting it right, until the game comes out and I can see for myself.
