(Been lurking for a while in this thread but I thought I would say hello and voice my admiration of Kaidan's character and his continuing involvement in my favorite game series and answer a question I know the answer to )

That is what I love about him too. He seems to be a voice of reason. They compliment one another. Again I will say it again Gas/Breaks analogy.

Off subject a bit...this is my first Renegade playthrough. Is their any possible way to get people to be loyal to you in ME2 and be almost at 100% renegade? I have fallen in love with Renegade.

Yes, but you have to commit to renegade to make sure you have the necessary speech checks.

That's one thing that got me about ME2... the paragon/renegade system wasn't skillpoint based and therefore forced you to pick a specific play type.

<_< I liked both the characters because they were so down to earth, Kaidan much much more than Jacob. Shepard needs a base in crazy times like the Reaper War. I'm looking forward to Vega but hoping Kaidan will get just as much effort.

Hi hi! Sporadic annoying newbie back again after randomly interjecting her 'cheating' opinion.

I'm actually looking for a beta reader or two. Since every single one of my fanfics so far have been Shenko, and honestly I don't see that ever changing, I figured I'd poke around in the Kaidan thread! I've always just thrown mine up on FF.net and called it a day, but now I'm thinking some hardcore beta reading and re-writings may be in order.

Sorries if this is the wrong spot for it! Just looking for some fellow Kaidan fanatics who don't mind reading my Kaidan-centric fics and helping make them the best they can be. I would assume a private message would work best, or could I just post links here and say "GO NUTS!"? Ack, this is a weird post. Here, have a thoughtful Kaidan to make up for my lack of coherent thought!

Scratch that. Now we get a not-so-pleased Kaidan. That tweet... grrrr. <_<

Do you think when they were creating Kaidan as a character they knew they would use Raphael Sbarge? Or was it a ploy to get us to love him as much as we loved the Carth romance?

ETA - a pic but also.. regarding that tweet to Mac, I tweeted back that Kaidan isn't boring but that was a conversation for another time (when you see Kaidan hate tweeted to BioWare devs tweeting some love always helps redress the balance, right?) and asked when we would know who was voicing Vega and he replied..
