Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

I want as many spoilers as I can get get my hands on so that I know whether it's worth getting ME3 or not. I can't say I was overly impressed with ME2 so I have reservations about ME3. We usually get the games a couple of days later than the US so I should have seen enough youtube vids to make up my mind by release day, lol.

I swear, I can't wait to see how that first meeting is gonna play out. Even tho, apparently, it also depends on how the convo on Horizon was played. Which is surprising cuz it didn't seem like that much convo to be setting a tone for the next game.
I just wonder how he's gonna react to seeing Shepard again...well, ..minus the whole Shep in chains thing. :/

Yeah, if Shepard has to wait until the night before the final battle for her Kaidan time she is not going to be pleasant to be around, lol.

See, now, I really enjoyed ME2. I thought it was a great game. Ah, well

I was less than thrilled with all the stuff they stripped from ME2 (where's all my inventory and armor, dammit!) to make it "teh awesome", <_< but I have to have more. I've already pre-bought the CE, just because I need my BioWare fix, even if they screw me over. *sigh* It's a dysfunctional relationship between me and BW, but at least I admit it, right?

Yes, Bekkael. I agree. One hit right b4 major battle is not going this time. I'm not saying it has to be all nookie, all the time. But I would like a nice romantic undertone to a majority of the game.
I don't need anything major either, but how about a little kiss like you can steal like with Alistair in DA:O? We fans don't ask much, right? Just a little Kaidan sugar to keep us happy!

That means there's going to be twice as much Kaidan in ME3 to make up for ME2, right?
THAT'S IT! I'VE FIGURED IT OUT!
In ME3, Shepard rescues Kaiden, Kaidan's twin brother, in Vancouver. He is non-biotic tech specialist and a bisexual love-interest. If Kaidan is the Virmire Survivor, hilarious mistaken-identity antics ensue, especially when Kaiden pretends to be his brother for the sole purpose of seducing a Kaidan-loyal femShep.
I'm on to you, Bioware.
I, too, support this.

Yeah, they don't have to be going at it like bunnies but it would be nice to have some resolution early in the game and some acknowledgement of their relationship through the game. The Kaidan fans deserve at least that after the lameness we got with Horizon.

I highly doubt the dialog options you took on Horizon are going to matter very much.LadyofRivendell wrote...
How many options are there for the Horizon meeting? Paragon = Kaidan gets mad, Neutral = Kaidan gets mad, Renegade = Kaidan gets mad.
So are we screwed either way?

A while back, someone from BW implied that something in ME2 did. "How you treat the VS in ME2 will shape how they react in ME3" or somesuch. Cue speculation, particularly since Horizon was the only bit where you could treat them any which way, or speaking to Kelly and/or Joker, or whatnot.

Hehe, now I want Shenko bunny art just because. Probably a good thing I have no artistic talent whatsoever.

I agree, Shepard was basically forced to be a giant bag of ass regardless of dialogue choice.
Shepard: Kaidan, please. Derp, derp, derp.
Shepard: Hey, Kaidan, derp, derp, derp.
Shepard: Now listen, Kaidan. Derp, derp, derp!!!!
Hmm. Huge difference.

Thats why i always say that i miss him. even, if it makes my Shep look weak, I just want to make sure everyone knows we're together.
and also, if my Shep has to wait for some Kaidan lovin' until the final mission, she might go renegade on everyone.

Idk. I think getting pinned to the wall in your quarters while you "finish" the Horizon fight...has potential.

Shepard and Kaidan haven't seen each other in years.
Has much as I hated how it played out, I actually gave a good ear to what Shepard said in the paragon responses and it made complete sense. "I didn't want to reopen old wounds."
I think p BioWare was taking the realistic perspective of a maybe-one-night-stand. After all Shepard is a p mostly predetermined character that we merely guide. Anyway this as been on my mind and felt I should finally share it.
