I highly doubt the dialog options you took on Horizon are going to matter very much.

A while back, someone from BW implied that something in ME2 did.  "How you treat the VS in ME2 will shape how they react in ME3" or somesuch.  Cue speculation, particularly since Horizon was the only bit where you could treat them any which way, or speaking to Kelly and/or Joker, or whatnot.

I wonder about that...are there flags for Horizon?  I have seen the flags for ME2 party members in Gibbed's Save Editor, but I'd be really interested to see what plot flags they have in place.

I *think* I'm okay on my "canon" game for meeting Kaidan again, but I'd be so cranky if one seemingly throw away line meant bad things in ME3.

Shepard and Kaidan haven't seen each other in years.

Has much as I hated how it played out, I actually gave a good ear to what Shepard said in the paragon responses and it made complete sense. "I didn't want to reopen old wounds."

I think p BioWare was taking the realistic perspective of a maybe-one-night-stand. After all Shepard is a p mostly predetermined character that we merely guide. Anyway this as been on my mind and felt I should finally share it.

Yeah, everyone has a diffferent interpretation of Horizon, lol. 

I have no problem with Horizon as such, or Kaidan's reactions, but I really just thought that Shepard's dialogue was lame.  It felt like the whole thing had been added as an afterthought.  I personally really dislike that "didn't want to reopen old wounds" line and never choose it even with my most paragon Shepard. If it means clearing the air with Kaidan, most of my Shepard's would gladly reopen old wounds, lol.

Off Topic: I love the pic above by Jho because I would like Shep vulnerable sometimes as well. She/he is always saving everyone else. In ME1 we saved Kaidan 2 x. I would loooove it if Kaidan saved us out of some really tough situations. I want my shep to be bad ass but I also want to show how hard the last 3 yrs has been. What are your thoughts on this?

I would LOVE this. I consider Kaidan, and the rest of the crew, just a step below Shep in badassery. I think it's about time we actually got to see it.

And even though of course Shep can take care of herself...it would be pretty hot to see him swoop in and save the day, just once.

Yea I would love to see others step up and be badass! Plus Shep hurt stranded alone with Kaidan and Kaidan taking care of her....how my mind wanders in realm of gutters.

What do you think that Kaidan would have thought about Legion's LM? In ME and ME2 our companions had opinions the shared on big decisions like the rachni. If we could have brought Kaidan with us to the heretics, what would he favor. Destroy them or rewrite them. It would be interesting if he could come with opinions on things in ME3 concerning the bigger decisions in ME2 and you could talk them over. Hmmm... rewrite perhaps? I don't know really.

Well if you saved the Rachni queen and they attack us in ME3. He is gonna turn to us and say, "told you so!!" The geth probably destroy them. The base definitely blow it. Very interesting question. I must pull myself away from this forum now LOL!

ME1 Kaidan would have been saying, "We should ask the Council before we do anything!"

But on a personal level, I think he would have favoured elimination of the Heretics over re-write. After having his brain poked around with and implanted with a device that would have, under different circumstances, given him SEVERE MENTAL PROBLEMS, I think Kaidan would be against brainwashing.

But then again, Kaidan is a tech-specialist. He might not think of a computer virus as truly equivalent to brainwashing. So... it might actually come down to a toss-up between his "brainwashing is bad!" morals and his curiousity to see the "virus" implemented.

I have no idea what ME3 Kaidan would say about Legion or the Heretics. In a lot of ways, I feel like I don't know Kaidan any more, because a lot could have happened in two years. His views and opinions may have changed.

Me too, I would love for a situation where the chosen LI saves Shepard in one way or another.
