As far as the Horizon convo., I going to defend Shepard's derpiness. I try to rationalize it as (in pretend land) Shepard is feeling awkward in the extreme. She knows it's been 2 years. Who's to say Kaidan still feels the same? Maybe he even married. Shepard just doesn't know.

I was never angry with either one of them. Although, some of these threads can get my panties in a bunch over it.

Kaidan's reaction,imo, was actually a good sign for a Shepard that had no idea anymore where Kaidan stood. He was upset; why didn't you call me; I loved you...it was awesome. It was awesome because it meant he still cared. (woo hoo!) We'll work out the details later

Hey, this is how posting was explained to me. basically you find image you like (google?--and try to get artist name; if you can...sometimes...I can't find it)

In post you click on "BBCode"; copy and paste the "URL" of image---then add to url [ img ] in front and [/ img ] in back--But with No Spaces

Yeah, um, maybe Wolverine can get away with it, but I'm pretty sure most Canadians don't refer to women that way either.

I'm from the US, and I've called both male and female friends "bud", and both male and female friends have called me that. Maybe it's a regional thing?

I don't know, but the men in England tend to call women by more feminine terms... I use *matey* a lot and it can either be a very friendly familiar term or an aggressive one and that works for both sexes... In my home town of Nottingham the *familiar* all use term is ''duck'', ''Ey up me duck'', means ''hello dear'', (I DO NOT TALK LIKE THAT THOUGH ;P) but we do not use names like bud... my husband would bite his own lips off before calling a woman that ;P

yeah, it is nice when they answer. especially because you figure they're pretty busy right now...and I imagine they get quite a few tweets.

As far as the part about not worrying too much about the whole "permanent" squad mate thing.....that's somewhat reassuring.

So maybe some squaddies will be around..alot. They just don't want us to assume everyone we run into is going to be shacked up in the rafters of the Normandy somewhere.

No offense to any men around here, but I assumed most of us in this thread were female. I got so tired of being referred to as male on other forums and PSN/XBL that I decided to make a clearly feminine username for BSN. At least, I think it's clearly feminine... My usual username is Cloudtail4ever, how that sounds manly, I'll never know.

And Kia, I can't cook, either We should team up and see how big of an explosion we can make in the kitchen!

The lemon pie is definitely one of my favorite masterpieces -- layered with whipped cream + cream cheese and lemon filling on top. And I definitely use real lemons when making the pie XD (though, getting lemon juice in papercuts (hazard of working at a library) -- ouch!)

Last week, I decided to try a version of the sugar cookies with lemon extract and lemon flavored frosting.

(I am not sure why I am awfully good with making lemon desserts O_o)

as in, I wouldn't read too much into that " bud" comment. I think bioware is perfectly aware that plenty of women play their games, you know with all those cosplayers and such.
