But on a personal level, I think he would have favoured elimination of the Heretics over re-write. After having his brain poked around with and implanted with a device that would have, under different circumstances, given him SEVERE MENTAL PROBLEMS, I think Kaidan would be against brainwashing.

But then again, Kaidan is a tech-specialist. He might not think of a computer virus as truly equivalent to brainwashing. So... it might actually come down to a toss-up between his "brainwashing is bad!" morals and his curiousity to see the "virus" implemented.

I have no idea what ME3 Kaidan would say about Legion or the Heretics. In a lot of ways, I feel like I don't know Kaidan any more, because a lot could have happened in two years. His views and opinions may have changed.

Hmm... well yes. A lot can happen during two years and he hasn't been idle during this time. Safe to say he has been out working for the Alliance. Who knows what he has been through during this time. Hope that we will have the opportunity to discuss decisions taken in ME2 with Kaidan, or at least his opinions on actions taken. Have FemShep's who have eliminated them, and other that has rewritten them. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Yes, it will be interesting getting to know him all over again. Garrus and Tali changed quite a bit from ME1 to ME2. Wrex, too. Although Garrus and Tali's squads always seemed to be getting killed. :/

I fully expect Kaidan to be quite a bit different. Not fundamentally, but it'll be very interesting to see how he's grown.

Lol. I can just imagine Kaidan's reaction to some of Shepard's decisions: "You did what?"

But my main curiosity is what is his opinion/reaction going to be towards the events in Arrival. I'm chewing my lip on that one.

I never noticed all of Kaidan's facepalming before And the I Love Lucy thing made me giggle.

Do you guys really think he'll be that judgemental and angry? In ME1 he always seemed a little passive, and I don't remember making him mad at all...

I don't see his character being judgemental and angry, not with the reapers attacking. I think he'll still respect what Shepard has accomplished even if it was with Cerberus, but he may hold back with her a bit at the start.

I have finished Pinnacle Station DLC and got my apartment, and just did the yummy Ilos scene with my renegades. (Hooray for Team Milky Way!) I'm bummed I couldn't find another set of human Colossus armor, because my OCD wants all my team members to match, but oh well. I'm bloody rich too! I totally forgot how easy it was to make money in the first game; and for the lulz, I didn't recruit Liara until right before I went to Ilos. Skipped all the drama between her and Kaidan. :innocent: Now, I will finish the final battle tomorrow and take my poor Shepard all the way through lonely ME2.

I don't think he'll be judgmental and angry. Sheesh...I don't think. He may be confused. Some things you just had to be there to understand. He may be surprised at the ppl we've been hanging out with lately. But when he gets to know them, he'll understand.

I don't know how passive he's gonna be anymore. In general, the characters seemed to have "matured". They aren't afraid to tell Shepard what for anymore. Granted, some of thier growth has been shaped by Shepard.

Kaidan never had any competition for my Shepard's heart until Vega was announced and my Shep was all " O.O beef cake man thing" and now I'm torn between the two (Vega turning out to be a horrible character not withstanding)
