Haven't written anything for/about ME yet but I can assure you, ME1+2 it will be undadulterated... pining from my Shep to Kaidan.

Y U NO LIKE ME KAIDAN? IS IT THE PENIS? 

ME3 will end the Kaidan pining one way or another.

This is weird.  Kaidan got a lot of criticism on the old ME boards because he was seen as dull and boring..
But with ME3 on the horizon, it's like Kaidan is the number one fandom all of a sudden

Not that I have a problem with Kaidan mind you.  Kaidan was perhaps the most useful henchman in ME, and I hated the fact that I had to Virmire him because my Shepard couldn't keep his grubby paws off Ashley's T&A..

I'm just surprised that so many people are all of a sudden Kaidan fanboys/girls..

The majority of us have been fans since ME1, alot of the old posters post on the ME2 Kaidan thread.

it's no sudden love for him I think. We are just being more vocal.

Think the old Kaidna threads went into the thousand pages, someone else can confirm :P

@carfax  It's not all of a sudden.  A lot of us were lurkers and until recently "Kaidan's Fangroup"  was first in number of pages.    In my case I couldn't post until my husband fixed it so I could. 

I'm actually kind of surprised when people save Ashley.  Militarily, she's the wrong choice.  (Yeah, made a new word.)  She's only a trained soldier with great scores, but Kaidan's a tech, boitic and medic.  Credits probably spent training and initally supplying Ashley around 500,000.  Credits spent training Kaidan would have to be several million.  But, to each his own.  Virmire's a rotten false choice anyway, but we are not starting that discussion again.

Yeah tell me about it.  From a logical perspective, Kaidan was very much the one worth saving on Virmire..  But my Shepard has a tendency to think with his little head more so than his big head

I suppose I'll have to download someone else's saves to have Kaidan in ME3, because all of my own saves have Shepard saving Ashley, and there's no way I can do another replay of ME.

I think also because Bioware is asking for more thought's and idea's etc everyone is being more loud about their favourite thing's about ME and the screenie with our beloved Alenko gave us an upstart.
