I suppose I'll have to download someone else's saves to have Kaidan in ME3, because all of my own saves have Shepard saving Ashley, and there's no way I can do another replay of ME.

@ZombieGeisha  I think your are right about that.  I came to ME after getting married and my hubby desperately tried to get me into gamng. <_<  I said I'd try DA:O--I can't finish it.  But, then he showed me ME.  At first, I hated.  I am not a zombie person.  Tech zombies, EWWW   I played to appease him.  And, then in the MED BAY, I got THE half smile.  Over done finished.  Then, I got pregnant and got obessed.

I used too lurk on the old, old boards. There were a lot of Kaidan fans but for every pro Kaidan post 5 trolls would jump out of the woodwork. Kaidan had a lot of love on the ME2 forums and thankfully the trolls seemed to have lost interest for the most part, lol. I think there is a lot more love out there for Kaidan than people realise.

I remember.  I read almost all of them.  I think the original one was locked because of that.  I found KAST and enjoyed reading even though I couldn't post.

My boyfriend hid my Mass Effect disc's so I would complete my other games. It's his fault, he got me into it. *evil laugh* He gave me a clue and I ended up finding them anyway.

I have the image of Kaidan as my phone wallpaper and he always jokes and says why is Peter Andre on your phone. Hope you guys know who I'm talking about.. I get so angry everytime he says it! lol.

Dragon age actaully made me want to play it more.

Plus, how fast do you think a Geth could hack the bomb?  I keep thinking 5.7 nano seconds would be enough.  Mission:  BOMB MUST GO OFF.  That was the whole point.  Ashley had back up, she had a chance.  Kaidan did not.  And that's the end of my rationalizations for saving Kaidan.:innocent:

My obession is not just hubby's fault.  But his adorable little Spawn.  No, wait that would actually be his fault to.  It is all my Hubby's fault.

DAO and ME1 are probably tied for 1st place in my favourite games list.  The writing and characters in each of them really sucked me in, and I adore both Kaidan and Alistair, lol.  But I blame my sons for my ME1 obsession.

It wasn't even the lack of Kaidan that spoiled ME2 for me, I was really disappointed with the writing in general.  I knew going into ME2 that Kaidan would only have a cameo, I just wasn't expecting that particular cameo, lol. 

@mineralica - I think everyone lurks for a while until they get up the courage to post something, lol.  I know I did.

But, but , but ... we don't judge here.  We like every body...even if BioWare is forcing stuff down our throats.<_<  Well, we don't like trolls, but who does.  Actually, "not like" is wrong, its more like pity.  Yeah, that's it , pity.

I'm still for finishing the fight.  However, I have moved on from "pinned to the wall" to "pinned to your desk".  You know, so he can discover the picture of him.  Of course, that's only if the Captin's cabin was locked so no one could get into it.

Not that I have a problem with Kaidan mind you.  Kaidan was perhaps the most useful henchman in ME, and I hated the fact that I had to Virmire him because my Shepard couldn't keep his grubby paws off Ashley's T&A..

I'm just surprised that so many people are all of a sudden Kaidan fanboys/girls..

There are a lot of us, we just remain in the Kaidan threads usually where it is safe from Kaidan trolling

You're not the only paranoid one Every time I post, I'm always thinking, "Crap, what did I do wrong? I'll probably be modded, flamed, or trolled..." And I blame that mentality on spending too much time prior to BSN on GameFAQs (awful forums, never go on there if you haven't).
Heck, I was so scared of posting that it took me a week to gather my courage and say something, And to be honest, I'm still terrified of all of you

I have no one to blame for my ME and DA addiction but myself. I had actually bought ME2 for PS3 back in Febuary, but I hated it. It was only two months ago that I played the ME3 Demo at Comic Con and decided to give ME a chance. Bought 1 and 2 for 360, never looking back I went through the same problem with DA:O. but eventually I made myself play more than half an hour, and now it's my second favorite game (ME1 being third favorite, and Uncharted 2 my all time favorite game).

Edit: Apparently can't type today.

I'm just glad that Kaidan finally got a nice set of badass armor suited just for him. It actually looks better than Shepard's N7 armor in many respects.

 I don't know how many of you were aware, or even knew of his works, but Rassoul Abdrakhmetov, aka UltimateBrainwasher on dA, sadly passed away this week.  He did some of my absolute favorite ME fanarts, his style simple and sketchy.  I always loved how he portrayed Kaidan, so much.  So, a little tribute to him, and a life and talent cut far too short.
