I'm just using Sheploo now. I used to make my own Sheps, but Sheploo grew on me with all the fanarts and default face saves lots of trouble and stuff.Silverpearl1977 wrote...

I have pointed out that here in the UK woman are not normally referred to as ''bud''
Yeah, um, maybe Wolverine can get away with it, but I'm pretty sure most Canadians don't refer to women that way either.
LOL!
Just now catching up, so I'm sure this has already been addressed, but Wolverine calls dudes "Bub."
I love him for that. I usually call everyone dude. But if there's only 1 or 2 guys in a group of ladies, they get called "ladies" as well.

As for Sheploo, am I the only person who thinks he's handsome? He's second to Kaidan for me in the man looks department.

I have to admit, I've never intentionally killed anybody in the ME universe. I just go on youtube and watch them die. (The one where everyone dies almost made me cry.) I have a soft heart, just can't bring myself to intentionally pick the wrong people. But I will watch others do it to fulfill my morbid curiosity.

I prefer my male Shepard to Sheploo to be honest , though for me Kaidan beats them both.

I may be in the minority then? I assumed if I killed someone it was bad. I felt bad too. Seriously played Virmire like 5 times to see if I could save them both
Plus it felt like end of their story too. Which I hated
And Sheploo is handsome? I don't think many would disagree. However, he has this funny walk...

I send Kaidan to salarians once because I always saved person at bomb site. It ended with first in my life trip to AA Tower. And reload and send Kaidan to bomb because I couldn't stomach scene "person is dying at bomb".sesheta255 wrote...

And... killing people at SM isn't that hard - Shepard just shrugs and move along. Especially it's true with death at "hold the line" - you don't even see majority of deaths there. Strange thing it was deaths of NPCs on my "worst import" run which made me feel like sh*t - especially Kal'Reegar's and salarian at the beginning of Thane's recruitment (that one who, dying, pleads you to save other workers). Honestly I'd expect Shepard to act more emotionally at least on death of LI, but no.

Am I the only person that likes to kill people off for the emotional impact?
Oh, I have plenty of everyone-survives-playthroughs, of course, because I'm a baby. But every so often I like to have some of my favorite characters die so that I can get my tragedy fix. Masochism much? xD
Specifically, sometimes I kill Wrex on Virmire because I find that scene very dramatic and well-done. Garrus and Tali sometimes drop during the Suicide Mission because they're my canon Shepard's best friends. Miranda, too, but she has supreme plot armor so I usually can't lose her if I try. *shrug*
Still haven't been able to leave Kaidan on Virmire, though. I want to, since I love Ashley so much, but...*sigh* I blame Raphael Sbarge. That man's voice is too sexy. It isn't fair.
My point is, is killing characters on purpose really all that bad?
I'd love to be able to.... but I just can't bring myself to have a *failure* Shepard... (in MY head) Because that is how I would forever view her..........
I totally just tried to have a failure Shep. My dudeShep I just wrapped up ME2 with. I was only going to do some of the loyalty missions. But then I couldn't not do them. I had to. It's just too stupid (to me) of Shep to not fully prepare his crew. I did pick different Fire Team leaders and Specialists for the Suicide Mission and managed to end up with Zaeed dead. So, dudeShep got 1 of his team killed. But I still hate it.
So, paragade femShep and renegade femShep will save all of their team (only Ash has died for both, and Jenkins, if you count him). dudeShep has lost Wrex, Kaidan, and Zaeed. For rushing. It is so hard to RP the Shep who makes mistakes!

P.S. Fireeye knows a way to save Kaidan and Ash, both on virmire, cause she posted screenshots of both of them being at that last stretch by the bomb O_O
P.P.S my first virmire, I actualy thought I would have been able to save them both. I helped distraction team in every possible way I could, I thought I had it made

The one loophole I know of is to skip Virmire entirely with console commands. Saw a youtube clip with the final battle where the player had both Ashley and Kaidan.

So if you skip Virmire, does that mean Saren's research lab was never blown up? Just curious if you know.

I'm the only one in my house that plays it, so Kaidan is safe here. (From being left behind, not felt up constantly. )

I did too, my son and my daughter's BF........... My son just didn't really like Ash and my daughter's BF even has a femshep, Kaidan romancing PT... He also saves Kaidan on his male Shepard PT's. I had 2 teenage boys to contend with so I can't say Kaidan never died in this house. Unfortunately he suffered from Carth syndrome in some of their playthroughs. They took great glee in telling me they'd "killed Carth."

My husband doesn't like Ashley or Kaidan, but I don't remember which one he saved (he only played ME1/2 once, whereas I've played and beaten ME about seven times and ME2 about five times).
Kaidan has been saved seven out of seven times for me.

1. Kaidan
2. Miranda, Joker, Thane
3. Ashley, Garrus, Wrex, Jack, Mordin
Middle Ground: Legion (trust), Tali (her voice irks me sometimes, but love the storyline), Liara (sp) just never used her.. granted don't have any DLC, Samara
Low on the list:
Jacob (just couldn't like him), Grunt (Wrex had 10x more depth, even as a mercenary), Morinth
Missing some I am sure

But he's alive in 9 of my 12 playthroughs. And romanced in all of those, though I have "cheated" on him a couple of times.
