also - Kaidan could potentially be in a relationship with Liara as well, assuming she manages to get over Shepard >_> he can get along with a wide variety femsheps, including pretty renegade ones, he just prefers adventurous women. Liara in ME1 was too timid for him. she is, however, no longer timid.

overlooking Cerberus connection? Miranda leaves Cerberus, remember? he wrote his e-mail to Shepard saying that he wanted to maybe try again, while Shepard was STILL with Cerberus.

Um, hmm Kaidan and Liara. You know there's this point in LotSB when Liara is up in Sheps cabin at the end (faithful FemShep for me); and at some point when they were talking she's sudden;y over by Shepards desk.

It cuts to this scene as Shep is babbling away in the background about something. Liara is looking at what could oonly be Kaidan's pic. Then turns around w/ that "Oh, yeah...haha face".

I wondered about that because for a split secong she has this serious look on her face, then she covers it up. And she was directly facing where the pic would be.

I wondered if that was the first time she thought,oops, perhaps Kaidan woulda liked to have known I gave Sheps body to Cerberus.

But the idea that maybe Kaidan and Liara hook up. Gah. I could see that happening after they both think Shep is dead. It starts off as both of them trying to comfort the other. And one thing leads to another.

That would be a pretty straight forward explanation for a few things. Horizon (an oh, crap you're alive...oh, crap, you're gonna be pissed when you find out I slept w/ Liara).

It might also explain why Liara doesn't ever! mention Kaidan. Or, your LI; cuz this could happen w/ Ash, too.

That would be..interesting. How would your Shepard deal with it?

My Shep would probably be pretty hurt that Kaidan slept with Liara, or anyone for that matter. She was dead for two years, and then stayed faithful for another 6 months and even resisted Garrus! She would definitely give Kaidan the WTF face, and the silent treatment for a while.

I don't think Kaidan would hook up with anyone who knew, or were part of Shepard's crew after her death, I think it would be too painful for him. I don't think a non romanced Kaidan would either. He broke the fraternisation rules for Shepard but I can't see him doing it for anyone else either in the Alliance or that he's crewing with. We all know that Shepard is special, lol.

It took something pretty drastic for him to break the rules for Shepard, and I think he was a little aloof with the rest of the crew (friendly but not letting anyone too close) until Shepard convinced him to lighten up a bit. If he paired up with someone it would either be the Citadel doctor or someone else his friends set him up with.

2 years of thinking someone you loved was dead, vs 6 months of knowing that someone you love is alive and may even want to rekindle your relationship, you just need to be patient.

I'm not sure how that even compares. I doubt romanced (or even non romanced) Kaidan slept with Liara. more likely if that serious look meant anything - is that maybe she should have told Kaidan about possibility of Shepard coming back, and saved them both much heartache (she looks at the same spot even if you don't have any portraits or have hers - animations are identical for all)

my Shepard was glad that he tried to move on. she wouldn't want him to grieve forever. and my un-romanced Shepards hope that Kaidan actually fell in love with someone in that time.

Well, technically the whole Normandy crew was busted up after Sheps death. So, it wouldn't be fraternizing. And also Liara isn't a part of the Alliance in any way.

Out of the whole crew, they were the two that had the deepest feelings for Shep. Mind you, I wouldn't want to see this, but I could see them getting together in mourning over Sheps death and.....

Not to say it'd be a relationship. It'd be one of those things. Prolly one that neither wants to talk about again.

Also Shep was dead. So, it's not like it woulda been cheating.

Yes, absolutely . And at this point we don't have any INFO Bioware!

We're left to scrounge the bottom of the barrel looking for clues to anything. I swear, you'd think this was some top secret weapons design. It's a game. Give me some info!

Almost completely irrelevant, but I had a dream last night that Kaidan became a drummer in a band. It was...interesting

Okay, so am I the only one who's slightly paranoid about making awful choices in ME3? I have a bad track record where, if I don't know it's coming, I end up doing awful in Bioware games. (spoilers for DA) In DA:O, my first playthrough I only had Oghren, the dog, and Loghain with me in the end, and ended up dying. In DA2, I killed Anders (who I had romanced), killed Bethany, lost Isabela, and sided with the Templars. It seems every time I'm not mentally prepared for big decisions, I make bad choices <_< So now I'm already trying to form out strategies for ME3 and it's still 6 months away! Anyone else slightly paranoid or worried?...Anyone?

My only goal so far in ME3 is to keep Kaidan alive

what kind of musci style was it?

<--is paranoid about doing badly as well.  which is why I'm importing my single, straightlaced by the book and get to the point Shepard first - since screwing up on her by missing some details and/or creative aproaches here and there are part of her personality.  that is unless I will end up starting a fresh Shepard in ME3, just to see what's what, before planning out my cannon run

I gotta say this one does things to me that no pic of a video game character should do. This sh*t just turns me ON! Like a light switch. I see it, and I'm ON.

So, earlier I mentioned that my goal for ME3 was to keep Kaidan alive. I began to ponder just how to do that, and decided that bringing him with me all the time might get him killed. So I decided to leave him on the ship. Then I started thinking that if I left him on the ship, maybe the ship would be attacked and everyone would die, so I've come up with a new idea! Kaidan will be duct taped to Shepard throughout the game, all the time, whether he likes it or not He's never leaving my sight. Ever. Who needs this so called personal space? *eye twitch*
