Do you think Kaidan continued to go out with that doctor after meeting Shep again?

If female Shepard romanced Kaidan in ME1, I doubt he'd get back with the doctor. Too much is up in the air.
If Shepard didn't, then I could see Kaidan dating the doctor again. And good for him, if he does.

Agreed. What I'm curious about is his mindset after sending that infamous e-mail regarding the meeting at Horizon. On Horizon, I felt Kaidan acted out of impulse when he told Shepard goodbye (due largely in part to Shep's involvement with Cerberus). But naturally once time had passed, he looked within himself and realized that he still loved Shepard. even after believing her (or him, if you played ME with a modded Shep) dead for two years.

...and that's what's killing me about how ME3 is supposedly going to resolve this. Dammit, I want to know NOW!!!!! Posted Image

Well I can't :pinched: At least after October I'll have Uncharted 3 to keep me busy (plus a few others). But once January hits, I'll be impatiently fretting and waiting.

Edit: What on earth is that picture?

I can't.

I'm 52, I spend most of my free time in front of the computer and McRibs are my best friend.

Doesn't BioWare know that it's not nice to abuse the elderly? Posted Image

Which is precisely why I love trilogies. They work out so well. One... Two... Four? Right. Three. Got it.

Me too, although I'm 48, but I feel 80, lol.  I just want some spoilers so I know whether to preorder/buy ME3 or not, lol.

I was underwhelmed by ME2 and so far ME3 is looking like more of the same, so I'm waiting to see what the actual story is before I decide.  But I will need something to focus my attention on in March, it's going to be a sh*t month for me, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

@ Sesheta: Ah, that makes sense. I'm just trying to keep faith that Bioware has listened to the fans. Apparently ME2 had too many spoilers prior to release? I'm glad they're zipping their lips for the most part, but at the same time it's killing me.

Luckily I'm in Australia and we usually get the games 2 days after the US so there should be plenty of vids on youtube for me to watch.  But I want massive spoilers, I don't want their lips to be zipped at all, lol.Posted Image

Already pre-orderd the ME3 CE but until then I'll be doing the SWTOR thing once it starts up in mid/late December. However, I already told my guild that I will be MIA once March rolls around.

*Sigh*  another soul lost to the Proto-Reaper that is BioWare. It's a relief to admit it. Posted Image

I lost my soul to Bioware about... two months ago? Which is hard since one of my best friends is a Bethesda lover and Bioware hater, where as I'm close to opposite. We butt heads quite often  And I usually win. Guy is smart enough to know that arguing with a girl never works.
I also preordered the CE, I wish it came with a model Normandy or something else awesome out of game aside from a book and picture.

And Sesheta, you live in Australia!? Lucky, I wish I lived somewhere cool again. The US is so bland. The only spoilers from BW I want to hear is "Yes, Kaidan still loves you and you crazy fangirls (and fanguys?) will be quite satisfied!" Pretty please, BW?

Same here.  And Proto-Reaper sounds like a mount that I would obsess over want.  There will be a few ME easter eggs in SWTOR, right?

My Indoctrination into BioReaper Posted Image started out slow but picked up speed at a frightening rate. I knew absolutely nothing about Dragon Age until the brouhaha over Zevran/same-sex romance options hit the web. Between that and YouTube videos of mods that allowed male Grey Wardens to romance Alistair, it quickly led to a frantic search for a DA:O Collector's Edition for the PC, which by that time had completely sold out. After almost getting scammed by an eBay buyer (eBay refunded my money after they determined that the buyer's account had been hijacked for fraudelent purposes), I managed to score one for retail price via Amazon. Step two of my Indoctrination started last year with the free download of ME2 offered by EA due to my purchase of DA2. Once again, YouTube and videos of MaleShep/Kaidan piqued my interest. Tried ME2 but just couldn't get into it, finally realizing that I needed to do ME1 first (don't get old, it's not pretty). Looked for a ME CE for the PC, discovered one was never made (CE was only made for the XBox), found ME for the PC on half.com, played my modded Shep, romanced Kaidan in ME, stayed faithful to him in ME2...and then was advised on another thread to play an unmodded maleShep who chose Kaidan on Virmire but did not romance anyone in ME and ME2 to use as an import for ME3, just in case. As a side note, pre-ordered SWTOR mostly on the companion system feature. Not sure if the same-sex romance option will ever be implemented in the game as was promised but it really wasn't a deal-breaker at the time.

That brings me up to the here and now, lurking on this thread as well as the "For the Love" forum, commissioning ME fanart and replaying Kaidan-related saved games on ME and ME2 when I really should be deciding on what goes to Goodwill and what stays with me when I move into my new apartment next month.

Besides, eating three meals a day was overrated anyway. Posted Image

Hii, I have a question. I saw a screenshot of Kaidan showing his new outfit/look, its not the one with Shepard and Liara on it. I cant seem to find it anymore, does anyone know where I can find that picture again and in good quality?

I became a Bioware fan with KoToR, although Carth had a lot to do with it, lol. I do like games with a good story and interesting characters.

I miss Kaidan too which is why I keep loading ME1 saves to talk to him and even Horizon saves, even if he does yell at my Shepard, lol. But there are some things that will be deal breakers for me as far as ME3 is concerned so I'm in a wait and see mode.

@Jen, yeah my kids are older than Lady as well. I have an 18 year old son and had a 19 year old but sadly we lost him in March.

As I said to Bekkael I think is more to being honest and Kaidan not wanting to keep the drinks with the doctor a secret and not tell Shepard as it might harm their relationship if they got back together, if I was in Kaidan's shoes I would be honest but that's just my opinion.

I think it's a good opinion.

I, too, think he was just trying to be honest in case it came out later.

That;s also why I think it's cute. It shows he still cares....

I think Kaidan is definitely the blunt and scrupulously honest type in relationships. He doesn't want to be jerked around, and he's not about to do it to Shepard either. Even though having drinks with someone doesn't seem particularly important, he must have felt it was important enough to mention it... He's so awesome.

Too bad on the hate. Each company is excellent and has carved out their own unique nitch. I adore both! :wizard: I'm looking forward to Skyrim keeping me occupied for a while and hopefully making the time go faster until March. I downloaded a gameplay video from xbox live yesterday, and OMG, the game is gorgeous. I also really like your username, LadyofRivendell. LOTR is another of my great loves.  Since we're declaring ages again, I'm 37, and my oldest is 16.

I finally finished the main storyline of my renegade Shepard and officially cheated on Kaidan. She's been a naughty, naughty Spectre and likely needs Kaidan to spank her in ME3. Here's hoping. :innocent:

For those of you who have both Paragon and Renegade Shepards, which one do you plan to take through ME3 first? I'm feeling a little conflicted as to which one should get the shiny, amazing first play. There's nothing like the emotional punch of experiencing that first run. *sighs in anticipation*

If I get it the first playthrough will be with my canon Shepard, Jade - spacer, war hero, adept, and pretty much my full on paragon. 2nd playthrough will depend on romance options and new characters, I have an unromanced femShep for such an occasion. Otherwise the 2nd playthrough will be with my paragade adept Mary Sue who started out as a joke but has become one of my favourites, lmao.

I'll be taking my Paragon maleSheploo to ME3. I really tried going the Renegade route but some of the choices were just too painful to make. I've come to the conclusion that Dragon Age and Mass Effect aren't games at all but cleverly disguised personality tests. Posted Image

My Sheploo's shining Paragon moment was ME2's "Indentured Service" quest on Illium. When he so matter-of-factly explained to the Synthetic Insights rep that it would be good PR to buy the quarian's contract, subract the fee from the quarian's pay and then let her go...I think I fell in love with him right there.

So, I decided to pop on my hearing aids just to hear Kaidan's voice (why I didn't do this sooner is beyond me.)

...all I can say is "Oh. My. God."

The voice is ... very swoon-worthy. I really should have DONE THIS SOONER.
