I have several playthroughs and in all of them my Femshep ended up with Kaidan and stayed single in ME2. My favorite and canon is my Venetia. She's a Spacer kid and war hero. She is a hot headed Vanguard and paragade ;P
I want to try other romances, too...But I think I have to finish her story first, before I'm able to try another romance for one of my Sheps ...

Multiple playthroughs, but my favorite is my colonist/sole survivor/adept paragade; Cassandra Shepard. I'd finish her story in ME2, but my brother hit the TV with a wiimote, and my computer can't handle ME2....

Ahhhh sis! That was my problem till very recently as well! I had to play ME at my brother's house since I only had PS3 (no ME1 on that...) and crappy laptop.

But now I can play ME1 & ME2 whenever I want, feels so good!

I seem to make the same Sheps over and over, just with different names and hair. Boring, huh? Right now, I'm trying my hardest to make a Renegade Shep who moves on from Kaidan. I just dont know who I'll romance in ME2 yet.

I use the SAME import from ME1 every time, so I guess that makes me more boring than you.   Mostly it's just that I am super pleased with that one.

Wait, what? There is no moving on from Kaidan. (OK, I did it a couple of times, but who's counting?)

My Shep's end up all the same, I'm predictable in that sense. I never get bored though!

about romancing Kaidan questions..

<--3 Kaidan Sheps... well sorta.
1 - romanced, stayed faithful - paragon with only a slight tough of paragade, super optimistic and outgoing, Horizon didn't faze her much, especially after the letter. has no regrets only learning experiences.
2. - romanced, moved on with Jacob, though I still have no idea what will happen in ME3 with her - paragon, turned renegade briefly after horizon, especially the letter, then settled into paragade. has a bit of self doubt issue, that was aggravated by Horizon, Jacob settled some of that.
3. - romanced (but sent him away before Ilos, wanted to focus on the task at hand.. was resurrected to regretting not taking that moment), stayed faithful but mostly because she was too emotionally closed down after Horizon. she just wanted to get the job done and more or less stopped looking past the next day. might end up breaking up with Kaidan in ME3 - this will depend on how they handle Horizon.

I don't know how people manage to play the same Shepard over and over. I envy your ability to do so. I get bored at playing the game exactly the same way more then once. Even when 2 of my Shepards might make 90% of all the same decisions, they still make them for different reasons, and often chose different dialogue options.

One shep that romanced Kaidan but Thane showed up and killed 5 ppl in less than a minute and well I was oddly turned on. I'm a little concerned for myself now.:?I'm strange I know!!! Maybe it's the dangerous men thing. I like Fenris too! Spacer/War Hero/ Renegade/Vanguard

I have a question for you all. Did you kill the Rachni Queen? I saved her 2 x now and I'm wondering if it's going to bite me in the butt. I thought having the Rachni on your side would be cool but then what if that turns out to be my biggest mistake. I'm on my 3rd Shep and I can't decide to kill her or not. Thoughts???

What are some of the decisions you wish you would of done different with your cannon?

I have a few Shepards.... 99% of them are faithful to Kaidan, of the ones that aren't I have....

One Shepard who (in my eyes) is cheating on Kaidan with Thane.

And two Shepards who are romancing Jacob ~ created by Genesis as single gals FOR Jacob.

I want my Kaidan-mancing Shepards to remain with Kaidan apart from the one with Thane which was for a ''seeing what the consequences are'', save data for 3.

My Renegade Sheps kill her, but my Renegon Sheps save her. The way she says "is our kind so frightening?" just breaks their heart :'( Poor Queen :'(

I have five Sheps, but their choices are basically the same, just some minor differences.

And yes, all my Sheps romanced Kaidan, and all but one stayed faithful.

I *had* 13 Sheps. Then, our 360 died. We opted to just replace the whole thing and not keep the old harddrive.

Now, I'm down to three. One "faithful," one who moved on, and one who didn't romance him at all.

I don't think it's boring at all! Shepard got a lot of "are you crazy?" reactions when I chose to spare the Queen. Heck, even Jacob thought it was a good idea to kill her (No prize for you!!)
 
Personally, I can't wait for them to show up -- hopefully at the most ODM (Opportune Dramatic Moment) in ME3.

By saving the Rachni Queen, she promises to help Shepard "when the darkness comes." Something tells me that time will hardly merit a quick throwaway scene.

I always save her, again I always make the same decisions. Wonder if that's gonna bite me in the ass by ME3, the lack of variation.

though it is implied - sort of - that the reason the Rachni attacked thousands of years ago was because they were driven by an unknown force (could have been the Reapers somehow)
so they might be easy to manipulate and while I get a benefit at some point it might also make things harder ... also did you see some of the screencaps so far? *winkwink*

Thanks for the responses everyone! I love hearing about other Shepards.
I've always saved the Rachni queen so far. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to make a playthrough not doing so. I don't know which Shepard I would use...Maybe the one I like least. I might just wait until ME3 comes out to see if it is worth killing her...

I have about 4 femSheps and 1 Sheploo that I imported into ME2. I originally had around 24 Shepards all up in ME1 because I tend to play a game to death, lol, but recently cleaned up files and deleted most of them.

All the femSheps romanced Kaidan and stayed faithful to him. Sheploo didn't romance anyone in ME1 but his current LI is MIranda. I made a femShep with the stupid comic thing that didn't romance anyone in ME1 or 2. All of my femSheps are slightly different, my canon Jade, is pure paragon, the others are varying degrees of paragade and renegon. My sheploo is full renegade, lol. Everyone in the squad survived the SM except in one playthrough where 3 of them tragically died.

I saved the rachi queen in all but 1 playthrough.

I certainly plan to just start ME all over once I know how things play out

Ok ty everyone so most saved her. I just think she would be a really good ally being how fast she can reproduce and the fact that they had to send the Krogan after them cause they almost wiped out the whole galaxy. So yea I would like her to be on my side. If not O.o then I have another problem to deal with.

Have 3 Shepards who have eyes for Kaidan. One of them was too damn proud to admit her feelings in ME1 so technically she's "single". The difference between other two is that one is going to get as happy ending as possible with her and Kaidan surviving, even if this means big sacrifices, while another is martyr, so likely won't get happy end.

About "replaying old characters" - I usually do another Shenko run after experimental playthroughs. "Had almost all crew killed and feel bad about that? Replay with ideal save, have a Kaidan and feel better". So far I have 25 full playthroughs and separate flash drive just for BioWare saves. Yes, I'm that crazy.

I think my ME1 disc is broken blaah
It just makes a clicking noise when it plays in the xbox and then says the disc cannot be read, so no finishing any runs I have left until I get a new one or it gets over not working lol.
It feels disconcerting not working.

I am planning to submit my art to the Dragon Age panel contest, so I'm not sure if I'll have the time to go to the ME3 panel, since they're back to back on Saturday.  I will attempt to get my grubby paws on the ME3 demo on Friday, though, and will report my findings.

I'm kind of reluctant to go to the signings.  I was traumatized by Chris Claremont's bad attitude at a con when I was a teenager (ironically, Rob Liefield was friendly as could be), now I try to admire writers and artists from a distance.
