How is the game play of ME2 on PC? Is it somewhat like ME? I'm mostly directing this at the controls. Part of me wants to get it for PC.

Pretty much the same, except I think the 'e' key commands has been replaced with the 'space bar', but you can always reset the keys in the options menu.  The only problem is that the in game instructions for doing stuff with the hammerhead tell you the wrong key for scanning, I think, been a while since I played, lol

It took me a while to get used to the hammerhead, but then I am totally uncoordinated so if I have to press more than one key at a time I'm in trouble, lol.

I hate the mako, more than any other thing in gaming. I hate it more than the water temple in Ocarina of Time, so that says quite a bit. And I do try to climb up cliffs to save time. The shortest distance to any place is a straight line, so I try to drive up 90 degree angle rock faces. If only the mako had been equipped with a drill on the front . . . or could fly.

The controls for ME and ME2 are just about identical. And you can always change some of the controls to suite yourself as needed. And the graphics are much better on PC. I am just one those really visual people so the graphics are just one more thing that makes consoles a no for me, but my brother doesn't mind it so much. He notices but it's a non-issue in his mind, you know men.

Aaaaarghh, don't remind me about that *&^%$#@*& water temple, lol. I have to say I wasn't a fan of the Mako, until I tried to control the hammerhead, then I became nostalgic for the Mako very quickly, lmao.

Oh yes, yes, yes.  I loved the Mako, tbh, and found the hammerhead uncontrollable.  Besides, the Mako could do flying flips off mountains!  Damaging the right front tire all the time built camaraderie between Garrus and Kaidan.  All that time fixing the axle, changing the tires let them bond.

My tires were always screwed too: need moar omnigel! I rode on some really rough back roads in South Africa once in a land rover; that gave me sympathy for Kaidan and Garrus when my Shep drives. :P The one thing I did actually enjoy about the Mako was using the jets to avoid rockets and the occassional thresher maw glomp.

The only good thing about the Hammerhead (for me) was hitting mutant cows. What the hell was with the little arms on those things anyway??

Yes, I always imagine Kaidan arguing with Shepard about who is going to drive whenever they have to go anywhere in the Mako, lol. I'm surprised he's still in one piece after my Shepard's driving.

If the Mako or any other kind of vehicle you can control comes back Bioware has a shining chance to have some golden party banter.

Why would you even get the game for both consoles? :?

I have it on all three and I know I'm not alone..... But to answer the question, (admittedly in a somewhat obtuse way) why not?
Wouldn't do for us all to be alike :)

Me too.
I play on my laptop at the moment, and after playing through both ME1 and ME2 with no mouse, I had to get a sh*tty mouse out in order to drive the hammerhead.
I bought the ME3 collectors edition for 360, even though I'm probably not going to get one until December. haha So I will be doing nonstop playthroughs from December until March. Hopefully, if school doesn't get in the way...

I think that if there was party banter for vehicles I would love them. But until that happens I will have to continue mumbling obscenities to myself and shaking my fist like there are kids on my lawn as I fall off of cliffs.

*delurking*

Been a while since I posted, I've been busy gaming. After reading this thread I craved KOTOR...so I replayed 'em. Then jumped straight to Dragon Age...which I had never played. Finished it last night. Oh. My. God!

I loved it! I had seen that pic of Alistair, Kaidan and Carth (somone post for me plsssss?) And wondered what the fuss was about. *swoons* I'm in love. And it got me thinking about ME3....I hope they make Kaidan more accessible to us, like Alistair was. I wanna kiss him whenever I want to, and say "time for bed honey" all that jazz.

I now have high standards for my interaction with Kaidan in march....kissing, cuddling, marriage, the whole nine freakin yards.

Is this the smexy picture you meant? B)

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats the one! Thank you very much ^^

I just wanted to add to my own dribblings and droolings over Alistair's romance, that he kills me everytime he says, "your wish is my command" and then the kiss, and the romantic music....

ugh, need Kaidan NOW! in the meantime will romance alistair again...:bandit:

Image IPB I agree with you. It would make those long wanderings on some lonely planet a lot more interesting if there was a conversation to listen to, especially with Kaidan and Garrus.

I missed the elevator rides when I played ME2.
