Chapters 4 and 5 of "If It Meant Living" are up:
If_It_Meant_Living_From_the_BeginningI mention this mainly because, though when I started writing the full story, I intended that Kaidan would, on the whole, play a fairly minor role. The romance would be there at the important times, but it would be understated, not the focus. And it still isn't the focus, really; I'm telling her story in all its aspects.
But my husband, of all people, keeps pushing me for "more Kaidan" in every chapter. Something about true romances needing to build over time, have nuance and flavor, and that I couldn't have "big impact" Kaidan moments later without small ones earlier (he's the romantic in the marriage, not me, lol).
So there is "more Kaidan", and will continue to be "even more Kaidan." Yesterday I even wrote the first draft of a chapter between the Citadel battle and the attack on the Normandy of ME2, of the two of them on shore leave at his parents' place in Vancouver, and it's just....lovely

.
Still no details of sex though. No way am I writing sex. He is NOT going to convince me to write sex. Nope.
