Mordin also has incinerate, which is an awesome power. ;D
I *love* that ability. I always spam it like crazy when I'm on my Infiltrator, wish I could use it on my Canon!Shep, who's an Engineer. Watching the hostiles run around screaming while they're on fire doesn't get old. Ever.

Also, I dont understand how people say Kaidan isnt a good squadmate. Everytime a krogan or one of those geth destroyers started running at me, he always threw them in the air. He was my best squadmate, and the only one I got the achievement for completing the game with.

I was shocked during my last playthrough when I was starting the last part of Virmire and the only squaddies I could pick were Tali and Garrus everyone else was darkened out
Ashley - with salarians
Kaidan - bomb
Liara - not recruited yet
Wrex - killed
I read there's a trick that you can save Wrex even if you don't have enough charm/intimidate if you haven't recruited Garrus, because then you'd be a squaddie short, so he automatically survives or something, I've never tried it myself though

Well, I was lurking all the mass effect forums (*cough* especially this thread *cough*), but when I saw the image in the OP, I couldn't help but wonder where it came from. I admit, I signed up to ask (haha). I haven't played ME2 yet, but I didn't see a scene like that in ME1 (then again, I didn't know there was LI in my first play through; didn't know you could go below the first deck on the Normandy. Woops!). Yes, I'm late to the Mass Effect boat, but boy am I glad I joined! I'm planning on re-playing, if I can only figure out how to edit my last Shepard (I messed up a facial feature that bugged the heck out of me the entire last game xP).
Anyway, I searched on youtube, but I didn't see anything like it come up; Anyone know where the dance image in OP is from?
you mean this image right? It's from the third game, ME3, It's his hot new armor.

Edit: If you totally meant the dancing one, which I think for sure now, it was modded I believe, so you wouldn't be able to find it on youtube, and Welcome to the forums

I thought the only way you could save wrex was by doing his family armor quest? I had no idea it had anything to do with charm/iintimidate.

The wiki says the achievements are based on how many missions you do with certain squaddies in your party (50 for Liara/Garrus, 45 for Ashley/Kaidan/Wrex/Tali). I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I do know that I got three of the squaddie achievements in one playthrough (Ashley, Liara, and Garrus), by waiting to do all the Citadel sidequests until after I recruited Liara. And I even got Ashley's before Virmire, so I was relieved that I wouldn't have to make a special Shepard just to save her and get that achievement (I'm a horrible person, I know).
Kaidan's achievement was the first squaddie achiement I got, but it was in my second playthrough, because I didn't explore the universe or do ANY sidequests that weren't on the Citadel. I was eager to get to ME2 and see what happened, plus I have this HORRIBLE quirk where in my first playthrough of a game, I'll get through 60% of it, realized I missed a TON of stuff, and start over. (I also have another quirk that if I haven't played a game in a few months, then go back to it, I have to start a brand new playthrough.)

In ME2 if your Infiltrator using area incinerate and reave together your unstoppable. Plus that nice invisibility cloak. I'm playing ME1 and Kaidan is one of the best I have. I use Wrex and Kaidan cause bio, tech, and solider are even.
I <3 Reave. I pretty much always choose it as my bonus ability (though I went with Slam on my Male Adept Shepard, not digging it, I miss Reave D= ). I just wish there wasn't blasted universal cooldowns in ME2, makes me feel like I'm wasting points on abilities when I can only use one every X amount of seconds anyway.

I do the same thing. Im waay to eager to figure out what happens and rush through it. And end up staarting over before I finish it. My first playthrough of DA2, I missed Fenris because of it.

I just watched an episode of CSI with Raphael Sbarge in it, his damn sexy voice!
He was on Dexter last season, and at the time I didn't know what he looked like. But the second he opened his mouth, I sat up on the couch and pointed like a hunting dog and said "oh my God, it's him!" My boyfriend thought I was nuts. I had to pause the show and explain all about voice actors and Carth and Kaidan and why I was so excited. I think he was a little disturbed.

for the quick level-up PTs I don't do the family armor quest, so before I gather enough freebie-points in charm/intimidate I might loose him
doing that quest might give you the option to save him even if you don't have the required number in charm/intimidate
so, I guess it's only if you can't charm or intimidate him and don't have the family quest done, that he's auto-saved to make sure you have enough squaddies

I don't think the dialogue choices should affect you getting the e-mail. Try doing a quick mission (one of the N7's if you have any left) and then when you get back check your e-mail. However, if you've already acquired the IFF and your ship has been attacked, you may want to do the SM and then check your mail after you're done.
(spoiler is in code; just mash up all the words and then separate them as necessary)

I was talking about the modded one, yes. Slightly disappointed to see it wasn't actually part of the games, but, that would explain why I couldn't figure out where it was from. Haha.
Also, is anyone here reading Manipulations fanfiction? The latest chapter did surprise me a bit (Chapter 66), but I really did enjoy all of the chapters leading up to it. The latest chapter did slightly disturb me, but not enough to stop from reading it. Haha.

Well, she does warn you, as explicitly and directly as she possibly can. Enter at your own risk.
