How long will it take Shep and Kaidan until they can't keep their hands off one another?!?! Any guesses?

It will take time; they will have hands full of other things. Job first then, well, marriage if I would decide. She was unnecessarily hasty in ME1 and acted against her principles but considering the situation... You could say that the life time commitment started from that point. Anyway, that's my take.

Talk of Raphael Sbarge's non-ME voicework always makes me think of this:lol:

Thats hilarious! I've never seen that before.

I hadn't :D Anyone happen to know what episode that's from? Funny how he happened to be in two of my favorite shows, and I never noticed it before.

I'm kinda odd, but I actually don't like WATCHING Sbarge act. But I love to LISTEN to him. I far prefer his voice work to any on-screen stuff he's done. I mostly feel the same about Greg Ellis, although I enjoyed him in the Pirates movies. Their voices are pure gold.

How is everyone planning to occupy themselves until March?

I'll be playing the new DLC for DA2 on Tuesday, and then losing myself in the world of Skyrim on November 11. Thank goodness for another massive Bethesda game to make the time go quicker. I loved Morrowind and Oblivion, and I'm really looking forward to this new installment in the Elder Scrolls series. =D

I forgot DA2's DLC is out soon! I bought Legacy, too, but I haven't played it yet. I need to get back to that game... But first I need to finish Golems, and Witch Hunt, so I can import a completely completed save/ Golems is sooo boring, though...

Occupying myself until March, hmm... Well, on Nov. first, I'll be picking up Uncharted 3 and Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Skyrim on the 11th, and Assassin's Creed Revelations after that on the 16th. I'll save Skyrim for last (as I'm honestly not too excited about it), so once I'm done replaying Uncharted a million times I'll head over to it. That should keep me busy until January, and that's when the "Is it March yet dangit?!" will set back in.

What to do until March, easy Forza Motorsport 4 on 14 October and then Skyrim on November 11. They should keep me occupied of months, if not then back to Mass Effect again.

I'll be finishing a few of my ME2 Shepards, finishing another DA:O and DA2, getting the new DLC, and then Skyrim in November, which *should* hold me over until then, but we'll see.

I'll probably be replaying the Bioware games I have, KOTOR2, and the newest Harvest Moon, picking up the new DA2 DLC, and hopefully Arkham City.

I'm one of those crazy people who can play the same things over and over and not get bored.

I love replaying games. I've replayed my favorite one 25 times (and I'm such a geek that I kept count). My second favorite game (DA:O), I've replayed 11 times. And my third favorite (ME1) I've only replayed 3 times, but I just got it two months ago. Who needs this so called "replayability" that reviewers always complain about when you've got an awesome enough story to keep playing?!

Trying to get the new kitty to stop chasing the established kitty!  :crying:

Finishing a few ME1 paythroughs that I started and never finished, taking those imports into 2 and playing them.  Maybe finally play DA:O, or DX:HR.  Figure out Fraps.  Come December 20, TOR!!!  That will hold me until March.

BioWare games also generally tend to be the only ones I can stand to replay over and over. I LOVED Oblivion, but man, the game was so epically long and with all the expansion and DLC, one character is all I have the patience to take through everything. Plus, their NPC's just don't tend to be as interesting to me.

Essentially, I play a Bethesda game when I want to do amazing things like run faster than a horse and jump off the surface of water, as well as stare in awe at the beauty of waving grass and gorgeous sunsets. (Their games really are breathtakingly beautiful.)

When I want to have an emotional experience with characters I connect with and who seem so real it hurts -- I reach for a BioWare experience...it's really more than just a game.

I agree, ive heard, though that Skyrim is going to be less lonely. I usually feel so lonely in those games. I hear there are romances. Ahh, if only someone Kaidan-like was there.

I will be doing all of the above to hold me over lol!! Skyrium does have romances in it but how good will they really be? Pretty much all the games you listed above I'm there.
@Tup3xi~I agree with you! She broke her own rules and I think they both knew it was something real. Otherwise they wouldn't of taken that risk to be with each other.

That's why I can't bring myself to keep playing Oblivion, I feel so lonely! The only friend I ever made in that game was my horse, who attacked me and chased me halfway across the map before I lost it.

All I heard about romances was the option to marry someone. Unless I'm mistaken, I'd imagine that'll be more akin to Fable 2/3's marriages than a BW romance subplot.

Haha! I hate when that happens with the horse!

Yeah, I'm sure it will be more like Fable, but still, its not as lonely. I'll be happy either way.

And dragons.

I hope I get a dog in Skyrim.

Or a pet dragon. Yeah, that would make me feel more enthusiastic to play it.

Yes, I also heard you can marry in Skyrim, and I think the story that was told in Oblivion was awesome. I was in love with Martin's character (Sean Bean <3); it's just that their main stories feel relatively short (I felt that even moreso in Fallout3), then, as you say, your character is pretty lonely. Doing lots of quests for random NPC's that were all voiced by the same handful of people. I think if they do better with the VA's and have a greater variety it will help alot. I doubt there will be any Kaidan-level romantic characters in Skyrim though. Romance isn't really Bethesda's thing.

Still, Bethesda and BioWare are both giants that occupy separate and unique niches in the gaming world. I will continue to enjoy the offerings of both companies.

Question for everyone: What was the very first game you played start to finish that turned you into a devoted gamer?

My Answer: I played many games when I was a kid, but didn't really catch gaming fever until I was an adult. When purchasing xbox games for my boys a number of years ago, I picked up a Lord of the Rings game called The Third Age. Since I've always loved LOTR, I decided to give it a try one day. I played it from beginning to end, and from then on I have been hopelessly addicted to RPG style games and especially to ones that have romance.

Pokemon Yellow on the gameboy color and super mario world on the super nintendo.

And everything else went downhill from there.

I do think it's possible to have a dog/insertpethere as a companion in Skyrim. I remember seeing a screenshot anyway.

Sean Bean plays Martin?!
Mind = Blown
I accidentally pickpocketed Martin once. Mixed up the "yeild" and "pickpocket" buttons.

I haven't played The Third Age, actually, despite being a huge LotR fan (as if the username didn't already imply so). Are you getting War in the North, Bekkael?

As for the question, I think it was Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for PS3 (I've only been gaming for a few years ) It was the first shooter, first T rated game, and first actually difficult game I'd ever played. Really helped me come out of my shell as far as gaming goes.
