Writing prompts, you say? This could give you some "good" ideas :D At least, that's where I go when I'm stuck with writing my fanfictions.

oh god.  this is almost as amusing random DA/ME promt generator

Oh dear!!!  Will play with that all night!  (that's what Shepard said!)

Hannah Shepard/Kaidan: Night patrol - and here's to you, Mrs. Robinson!
Kaidan/Udina: I trust you - bwahahaha!!!  "You bastard, you're selling us out"
f!Shep/m!Shep: the other side of the story - oh man!!!

/may have to start writing again

Illusive Man/Miranda - Things you want to forget. Yeah, I'd probably want to forget that.
Is there any sort of group around here that writes these? I'm half tempted to.

The first game that got me addicted to pc games was Tie Fighter, although I did give Zelda a workout on the ninny64, as well as pokemon games, lol.

Oh man, Tie Fighter was amazing.

Hero's Quest 1 (became the Quest for Glory series) on an Amiga 500.  Still have it somewhere :P

Question for everyone: What was the very first game you played start to finish that turned you into a devoted gamer?

Mass Effect.

Although I have gone through several gamer / non-gamer phases in my life, so it's hard to tell. The first one was probably Pokémon Ruby back when I was eight.

Ah, Pokemon. My first video game ever was Yellow, back when I was four. I actually learned to read from that game. My first read words ever were, "Hello, and welcome to the world of Pokemon." I still remember that night, I'm so proud :crying:
And, secretly, I still do play Pokemon

Please kindly place your hand on the screen so I can high-five you through the internet. Right. Now.

That game was a milestone. I saved up my itty bitty allowance for weeks until I was able to buy a copy of Ruby, and a Gameboy SP to play it on, ALL BY MYSELF. Eighty bucks, man. That's like buying the planet of Jupiter to an eight-year-old. HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Hmmm, this is a Kaidan thread, so let's keep it relevant with this old gem.

Yes! Feed the plot bunnies!

Kaiduck! I actually caught a psyduck and named him Kaiduck recently. The saddest day of my life was when I was 10, and my Silver's internal battery died (you know, the thing that allows you to save). I had put countless hours into that game, I guess I should have listed it as my first played through game.
But man, Yellow went with me everywhere. My sister stole it from her ex-boyfriend, including the Gameboy, and that's how I got it for free as a three year old. I kept it for five years, even though it was busted and couldn't save. I actually got to Misty's gym, once (I had to restart every time I turned the game off) but when I finally got there, my mom made me turn it off. She had a good reason, I guess, since we were touring the Louvre in Paris at the time.

The game that got me into gaming was Counter-Strike, although the first one one that actually had an ending would probably be Medal of Honor. I wasn't allowed to play games when I was a kid, and when I was in high school I was too busy with extracurriculars. But when I got to college, my whole floor was on a LAN and we'd all get back from class and play Counter-Strike for hours. And then one of my friends lent me Neverwinter Nights, and that was that.

What? There's dirty joke about this pic which wasn't posted yet?

And thanks for prompt generator. I was looking for new mad idea which will force my previous mad idea (Fenris/Wynne Friendship/Adventure) out of head.

Edit: Joker/Garrus serenade? Why oh why I've asked...

The Council/Kolyat: Hold that thought.
Yeah, I'd hold that thought, too.

Admiral Hackett/Saren: Drunken Shenanigans

Joker/Benezia: The cold, hard truth

Feron/Feron: I'm not sorry

Shadow Broker/Udina: Patter of rain

Kaidan/Conrad: Childhood memories

Garrus/Anderson: End up in Wonderland

Okay, I've got to write some of these down. Very very tempted to write now.

That'll happen right before every 100-page marker. We're about to hit 400 pages, so clearly it's time to go fan-crazy and bump Kaidan's thread higher than his hair.

Nah. It could go so much further

But I don't think I'll ever see a thread more insane and crazy and just so simply awesome as the Anders Thread.

What makes Anders' thread so scary? I've never really ventured into the DA parts of BSN, for some reason, even though I like DA:O more than ME.

Frusterbating.

That is all.

(But on a serious note, The Anders Thread is one of the most intelligent threads I've ever seen. So many good and in-depth character discussions went on in there. I haven't been into it much the past few months.)

Sorry, I don't want to derail this thread talking about another for another game. The Anders FAQ link in my sig does have more info on that, uh, topic.

Kaiduck.

It moves really fast for one thing, and there are some really strong opinions. It's not bad, I was just intimidated and only posted there once, I think to leave a link to an Anders FF I wrote. I'm sure they're really all cuddly bears when you know them. ^_^
