Is his hairbump trying to push itself outside of the frame?

I bet it is.

I'll never get sick of Kaidan's portrait on my desk... I hope it's still there in ME3. I don't even care if the real Kaidan is actually aboard the Normandy!

Staying loyal to Kaidan... totally worth it. <3

Completely and utterly worth it. I was reading back over my first impressions of ME2 recently and I had forgotten how powerful an impact that little scene with Kaidan's photo made on me the first time I experienced it. In some ways, absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

I had the photograph scene spoiled for me before my first playthrough. Boo.

I hadn't noticed photograph before this scene played. And was shocked to find Shepard's bathroom several playthroughs later. Looks like captain's quarters needs in... squadmate sitting there :innocent:, or Shepard will ignore this place.

I didn't actually believe what I was seeing until I checked the BSN a few weeks after I had finished the game, haha! I remember walking into my cabin to change my Shep's clothes and was like "Dadada, fish tank, desk, medal-- whaa, is that what I think it is? Nooooooo, can't be!"

:pinched:

I didn't know about the scene if you stayed faithful and got all sad when it happened, oh Kaidan, how my Shepard ached for you! After playing both the Garrus and Thane romance although I enjoyed them I still prefer staying faithful. I'm even sure I'll import them, I just think my canon Shepard, although loves her new squaddies dearly, she can really only fall for a Kaidan, or Vega if he's an option. I'm just partial to human romances.

Question for everyone: What was the very first game you played start to finish that turned you into a devoted gamer?

Gabriel Knight 3:  Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned (1999).  My husband is a lifelong PC game lover afficianado fanatic. So games were a part of my life, but I was more of a voracious reader in my spare time.  He was a nut for the Gabriel Knight series, and then the third one was about vampires and religion, and the marketing for it was just too enticing.

Honestly though, a true devoted gamer?  It was actually the MMO Dark Age of Camelot (2001).  It opened a whole new world.  God I loved that game.  Brought my husband and I closer together too, as we played together sooo much.  Once I was hooked on that I started sliding in one single player game after another after another :)

Legend of Dragoon. Pretty much the best game in the world. Contains the second crappiest moment in my gaming life, but one of my favorite game characters.

Ohhh, I liked Legend of Dragoon! I remember when some game reviewing site gave it a horrible review/score and they got blasted with hate mail. Constantly calling it a FF7 ripoff wasn't really the smartest thing to do. (The world does not revolve around FF7).

....This is making me want to play it again. *goes to dig out the old PS1 memory cards*

Baldur's Gate. Bioware is almost single-handedly to blame for my ongoing gaming addiction.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I was obsessed with finishing it. And it had good music. And I never get tired of explosions.

The Zelda games. I grew up watching my old man play the original games, and then my brother and I played OoT and MM... Now we're both gamers, (and even enjoy some of the same games) but we play different ways. :D

Star Wars Rebel Assault II got me into gaming, then my PS1 games, but the one that made a real fan of a specific game is Mass Effect, wich also made me a fan of KOTOR and DA. :P

Mine was definitely KOTOR. <3 However, one of my first video games that I played constantly (besides a whole slew on Nintendo) was Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega.

The thread has gone wayyyy off topic. Poor Kaidan. :P

After the ME Facebook page just confirmed multiplayer co-op, I'm too scared to venture anywhere else.

@ Batteries, I had to get out of the other thread I was in about M/P (which is now confirmed 4 person co-op) just to catch my breath.

It is so interesting to read all the different styles of games that sucked each of us in. Very different paths we've each taken that have brought us together here. I love you, all my fellow game fanatics. <333

And here we come, 400 pages of Kaidan adoration. WOOT!!!!!!

Tut, you freak..... That'll win you no friends on BSN ;):D
As far as it goes, I agree I quite fancy seeing what they do with Vega and if he will be an option. My favourites are Kaidan first and foremost and then Jacob. I've done Thane but not Garrus (just doesn't do anything for me, he's OK, I don't dislike him.... I just don't find anything appealing about him as a romance) I'm a bit upset that they have confirmed (pretty much) that Thane is a temp squaddie more because it is worrying for everyone, not just Thane fans....
