I've only done it with my canon Shep. I feel the same way, that she fits best with him.

@LadyofRivendell That's cool one pic looks like your Shepard. On multiplayer, I am fairly indifferent. I'll try it and if I hate it, I won't mess with it again. I haven't hated anything from BioWare, so they get the benefit of the doubt from me. *shrug*

At first I was really angry. So I said "F*ck. Multiplayer." on Twitter.
I still don't like it, but I'll probably just ignore it. Possibly, maybe, give it a try.  I mean, I like playing video games by myself. They're my own experience. And with ME and ME2,  I didn't need friends to play with. Because my friends were the lovely characters of the ME universe. Multiplayer sort of changes that...
I just hope that if I choose to not play, I won't miss out on anything important.
And I'm open to BioWare qualifying it more.

Do as I did. End the game, wait about month or two and start all over with another character. I guarantee that your new Shepard will fit Kaidan just fine

Nope, didn't find it cheesy at all.

In one of those "I wish they did/I'm glad they didn't" moods, I was wondering what my reaction would have been if ME2 had a cutscene showing Kaidan grieving at the news of my Shep's death. Given the right circumstances, I'm sure I would have looked like I finely chopped 100 lbs. of onions.

Yeah, if they had showed any such grieving scene, thousands of fangirls/boys would have been weepy puddles of goo (including me), and I doubt there would have been as much anger over the infamous *H* scene. Alas.
