Honestly though, I think all the classes are great. I wish I had the patience with the Mako to do a playthrough of each. I may eventually.
I hope they haven't messed with Kaidan's class for ME3. I like him as a Sentinel...

It's always good to have at least one mage in your party.

Exactly. Where would we be without wonderful mages?

That's another reason I was curious to play a Biotic. I loved playing as a Mage in DA2, the gameplay was awesome (and the added effect to the storyline was great, too). I just don't know if I can let my Soldier go, I love that class...
DA:O's mages were kinda boring, IMO.

I guess I liken an Adept to being a State Alchemist from the FMA anime....
So it works well with my AdeptShep and Kaidan...teching and blowing things up biotically is so much fun

It was so close to the DAII release that I finally did a "This is everything I wanted to do and how it happened" playthrough that became my go-to DAII import. I don't know if I wanted the Amell/Hawke link or not but it happened.
I still

I stillmy Dalish Elves
I loved playing as a Dalish for my first runthrough. Well, loved it until Alistair dumped me. Finished that game, realized how awful all the choices I made were, played again as a Human Noble, and never looked back.

dalish and human noble are my least fav origins IMO
Ok I need help spicing up a new play through
I made Katja earlier. Colonist/Ruthless....but I feel like a sleeze! I mean...she's not a full on renegade...but the whole Torfan thing makes me feel squicky.....
What should I do?
Kat will romance Kaidan...but she feels tainted to me due ot her background....

Hmmm.... anyone know if its possible to....errr.....apologize for Torfan? I told Jenkins that I didn't enjoy it, but it had to be done
I'm gonna enjoy seeing how this may play out in ME3 with the Arrival disaster...

No matter what game I'm playing, I can never bring myself to be evil. The only reason I haven't got a platinum trophy on DA2 is because I can't side with the Templars or bring myself to create a rivalry.

It's probably better to plan the playthrough being a templar/rival people one at the beginning rather than making that choice much later.

Has anyone romanced Kaidan with multiple Sheps or the same one?
I want to do a new Shenko ME1 file...but I can't see Kaidan with anyone else but Teddy.....
YUP. I romance Kaidan almost every single time I play ME1, though I have "cheated" on him a few times in ME2. I've romanced him with.... 8 FemSheps, I think? Four of those remained loyal to him.
When I picture who canonically ends up with him in the end, though, my "main" Shepard is the only one who comes to mind.

I have... I think... 3 or 4 Shep's with Katja being the next one up
With Kat as an Adept, Kaidan as a sentinel and Ash providing the heavy fire....we're the best team out there
Then...Virmire happens...

I usually play as an adept or sentinel in ME1 (& ME2). IN ME1 adept has singularity which is seriously overpowered and awesome, it's a shame they wound it back too much in ME2, lol. and remember, warp is your friend, lmao.
I'm very meh about the multiplayer news. It's another tick in the reasons not to get ME3 list for me.

I watched all the female LI romance scenes for ME2 after I beat it a couple times with my FemSheps.
But I tend to like to experience as much as I can for myself before youtube hunting.

It's really not hard at all, since Kaidan isn't actually there. He pops up for Horizon and disappears. If he was actually on the ship or something I probably couldn't do it. Or would do it less frequently, at least.
Plus a lot of my Shepards aren't really compatible with Kaidan for a long-term relationship. They just hooked up with him in ME1 because I'm a weak, weak person and I can't resist him unless I Virmire him (and I'd rather have him alive and cheated on than dead).
I am excited for TEH DRAMAZ in ME3.
