More accents in ME? I thought Zaeed speaks differently from the rest of crew, and there's Ken. And majority of Quarians. Though I'm not an expert in accents so may be just wrong.
And about dialogues: recently caught myself replaying DA2:Legacy just to pick another party and hear more banter. I hope BioWare will take hint that fans prefer it when squadmates are chatty? :innocent:
Speaking of Quarians and their accent my canon Shepard is reminded of her and Kaidan's relationship by Kal'Reegar and Tali's. He's a subordinate who is excessively polite and can be seen to have a special interest in her. In my head she likes to pick on Tali about the possibility of a Kal/Tali romance. I rp it as a projection of her wanting her old relationship with Kaidan back since none of my other Shepard's see Kal and Tali's relationship as more than platonic, especially my Sheploo who romances Tali. This kind of weird detail in my head canon story is also why I decided I need to take a bit of a break from ME.

Speaking of Kal'Reegar: remember his first appearance in person? Guy hold loads of Geth and Colossus from opening the door. I'd like to think Kaidan will finally get a cutscene in ME3... Something badass about biotics, please? Anything what will take class into account, please please please?

I was so disappointed when I found out that Ken was supposed to be the male equivalent of Kelly but they cut that idea. I had a couple of Shepards that would have invited him up to the cabin to talk about engines.Silverpearl1977 wrote...

Wow, is that true? Ive never heard that. My Shep would have definitely invited him up.

As I've heard, not to replace Kelly as secretary, but as "casual" (not photo frame turning) romance option for Shepards of both genders. But I might heard wrong.LadyofRivendell wrote...
Ken was really supposed to replace Kelly? Even though I wouldn't have invited him up, I'd much prefer that than having Kelly hit on everything. Unless Ken would hit on everything, too. In which case I think I'd prefer him in the engine room.

But maybe I would have taken advantage of that....oppurtunity with one Shep. Just not canon, because she is with Kaidan forever.
Isn't Ken's VA a Canadian though?
I find Scottish accents the sexiest though. I could listen to David Tennant and Ewan MacGregor talk all day.
@Bekkael, if you don't mind me asking, why did you decide to homeschool your kids?

Because public schools suck /homeschooled kid
This, I agree with. At least College is a little better. I was homeschooled back in fourth grade (we lived in Germany at the time, and I didn't speak enough German to go to their public schools) and I gotta say, it really is great.
If I had kids, I'd probably homeschool them, too. Keeps them away from the bad influences, peer pressure, stress, idiocracy, etc. Just walking through the halls of my high school, I'd hear more profanity than on South Park, and the people making out and grinding in the hallways? Really?
That reminds me, was Spacer Shep homeschooled? If she/he lived on Spaceships most of their life, I don't see how they would have regularly attended schools.
Edit: Joe, do you mean the dancing clip? I'm fairly certain that's modded/edited to put Kaidan in there, because the original clip is Shepard dancing with an Asari (if you chose any option other than the Paragon or Renegade checks) during Samara's Loyalty Mission.

But I was home-schooled for a period and I found it preferable because I was able to move at my own pace and have a say in what I had to learn. But you have to consider the schools where you live (grinding? really?) and what you find more important in your child's development. Interaction with other kids is very important. But if schools are that bad and you are able to home-school them there are other ways to get that interaction.
And about spacer Shep . . . I have no I idea. Were there other kids? Maybe there was some crew member that along with their duties taught a small number of kids? No real idea though.
(Oh, HS=High School)

Mondays and Thursdays were the days my father personally cornered me in the bathroom and dunked my head in the toilet. Tuesdays and the occasional Thursdays were the days when both my parents would point out every zit and physical abnormality I had.
Now Fridays were special. Fridays were Fad and Peer Pressure day. They would spend the day in the hallway and bathrooms in a routine of cussing and talking about their exploits with alcohol and toad licking.
/Kaidan totally had it worse

Hey guys a random question occured to me, wondered what you guys thought. Do you reckon Kaidan stayed close with some of the BAaT crowd? I always thought no, cause of what happened but then when he talks about Rhana he mentions that their circle was pretty close and now I'm having fun imagining them being the ones telling him to take the infamous doctor out. What d'you lovely people think?
Oh and on the whole where we live thing, I live in Bath England and its lovely. Living near the Roman Baths are entirely to blame for me having to do a classics degree. Farmer accent is a definate downside though!

It is a possibility. I've been tweeting Mac Walters and trying to get an answer from him whether Kaidan and Hendel Mitra (from the books) know each other. Seeing how other novel characters seem to be appearing in ME3, I think Hendel is likely too so I wanted to know if their time at Jump Zero will be referenced but he never answered and I tweeted twiceAchillia wrote...

German, Italian and Spanish are also very sexy.
For realz?
It does disturb me a little but that's because I'm german I guess and I somehow never had any problems getting rid of my accent. No matter if I'm speaking german, english, french, spanish or japanese (not that I speak all of those languages mind you but I never had much trouble with pronounciation) uh... without wanting to sound too bigheaded
I myself have a huge soft spot for british accent I think. Alistairs voice tends to make me swoon = D So does about every voice in DA so yeah  I think canadian is cute too, at least what I hear of M!Shep and Fem!Shep. though I know that's only a minor accent, apparently. I remember one talk with TIM though where both say "aboot" instead of "about". It sounded cute to my ears = 3
Edit: I think in my headcannon Hendel had a crush on Kaidan. Now where is that epic motivational with Kaidan turning him gay?

You know I've always thought Rhana might somehow come back into Kaidans life, being older and wiser she's forgiven him for killing Vyrnnus. Maybe she's the doctor Kaidan went out for drinks with

Yeah, in America it's all about America. You don't spend much time on world history in school. And when you do, it's relevant to America.I only know about Roman history because I took Latin in high school and my boyfriend is a classics major. So don't feel bad!
As a fellow American I can sadly attest to this. I know what I do about world history because of the copious hours I've spent plunging into various books as well as Wikipedia and from conversing with friendly folks from other countries on the internet. I really wish they taught us more in primary school though.
That's public school education you refer to though, is it not? As a homeschooled student, I received a good deal of exposure to the history, culture and geography of other countries that I likely would have missed in an Alabama PS.
Now, as a homeschool teacher to several of my children, I use an array of social studies and world history texts, as well as doing a thorough sweep of ancient history, which many middle schoolers don't seem to get. I find the history of other countries fascinating. Wish I could travel to visit them all.
Er, sorry for off topic.
And my daughter is studying art and design at college
Anyway, not trying to derail... what do you think the education in ME is like?

I love Bath!!! SO beautiful.
I would say Kaidan didn't stay close to his friends. I had the feeling everything sort of broke apart when it closed...hmmm.
I was in public schools my whole life, they weren't terrible, cause I live in a suburb and the school system was pretty good. It's slowly going downhill now, so I'm glad I'm out of there. Anyway, don't get me going on the American public education system..

Jennifer Hale actually sounds more southern to me. I can especially hear it when FemShep is talking to Kelly about Kaidan, with the way she says "goodbye." ------>Video
Which makes sense, because apparently she grew up in the south. I didn't find out about that until later.
Also, Martin Sheen (TIM) is from my hometown in Ohio!
EDIT: OMG TOP.

One of my favorites, by Shoko.
