You can get snow in March if you
a) Wear your PJs inside out
B) Flush 10 ice cubes down the toilet at exactly 9 o'clock PM (21 hours in Military Time)
c) Place a glass of water under your bed
d) Place exactly one ice cube on the mat in front of your front door
e) Turn your sprinklers on the day before you want snow
f) Hose your boss' car the night prior, as long as the weather is under 32 degrees F (0 degrees C)

I've heard all the Old Wives' tales... The last seems the most effective, though.

Haha, priceless!!!  May consider the PJs one.  I'll also rely an old, tried and true method: whatever this particular local weatherman says will happen, expect the exact opposite.

Another Murphy's Law-type of way to ensure rain: wash your car the night before.

Man, we should make up some old wives' tales related to Kaidan.  Hm, if you see biotic blue around Kaidan, don't expect the bodies to be in neat, manageable piles?

Its a Shep/Ash run!

To be fair... Ash gets left whenever I romance Liara..... plus this is my first time romancing Ash

I think I may redo my Shep/Liara file and put Charlie with Kaidan...

Old Wives' tales pertaining to Kaidan... Sounds like a good way to kill time, I've got 40 more minutes until my iPhone finishes updating, and can't seem to find any captivating new fanfics.

Let's see here... If Kaidan's hair isn't neat and orderly, that means someone divided by zero? I have no clue, I'm not good at these things.
Or is it that your ship blows up and you get spaced when someone divides by zero?

It's not snow that's a problem in TX, but ice. When I lived and worked in Dallas years ago, I called in when we had an ice storm one November. Nobody can drive on the stuff, and many cars wrecked up or wound up in the ditch. It's not like the north where they have plows and salt trucks and are ready to deal with it. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, oh boy! Quite a mess.

Ice is bad to deal with, no matter where you are, or how much snow you are used to.  No traction on it, and 4 wheel drive will not save you.  It is safest to stay off the road in those conditions.  Stay home, and curl up with a nice ME playthough of Noveria.

Also, don't forget that wet leaves are like driving on ice, so be careful.  :)

You can sacrifice Kaidan on Virmire?

It's a little-known bug.  Heard some people's games came with it.  No patch for it yet, but you can fix it with a save editor.  I saw the glitch once or twice, but luckily not more than that.  Some screwey code-writing there.

Damn, I couldn't even sacrifice Kaidan using the stupid comic thing, lol. It killed me to make a Shepard with the comic that didn't romance anyone, lol. I really had to rush through that section before I changed my mind. One of the reasons I had so many playthroughs of ME1 was because I kept starting a new game with the intention of not romancing Kaidan but I have no willpower, lmao.

So true. I'm a native Californian who livedv in Arkansas for ten years. An ice storm would hit and while the Arkies and yours truly would stay at home ... the guys from the Chicago area at work would laugh and get in their 4 wheel drives. Guess how many 4 wheel drives were off on the side of the roads and not in the business parking lot.

They just couldn't figure out that while Chicago had all the salt trucks, etc.Arkansas has hills that you don't remember until they have ice on them and there aren't enough ice trucks out there to get all the country roads, neighborhoods, etc. So ice storms would hit and northerners living there would end up in the ditches.

I learned that winter wonderlands are great if you don't have to go to work in it.

Exactly the same as me <_< I didn't want to use the comic but was alot easier than ignoring Kaidan, still chose him to live though...Need to do one with a live Ash, she hasn't made it yet.

We can have all four seasons in a matter of a few days here. Sans the snow, but it can still get pretty cold.
But usually it's smoggy and disgusting outside. My perfect weather is rainy, cool and overcast every day. If it wasn't for the sun needing to exist to keep the planet existing and give us light, it could implode for all I care >_>
Of course that would mean we all die.

I
 can't win.

We had snow here in January, year before there was some April which was fantasti! I'm not sure if it's just south of England but it's like the end of the world when it snows. Everything just stops due to 4/5 inches of snow.

I visited a friend down in South-Eastern Washington last year in January (SE WA is pretty much a desert). They got 4 inches of snow, and school was cancelled. I was just thinking, "Really?" In Seattle, it usually takes a foot for things to slow down. But hey, I spent a few years of my childhood living in Montana. 3 feet of snow? Normal day!

It's almost funny to think of how each different region reacts to some frozen water.

Where in SE WA? I live in SE WA? Seattle is mostly rain but when it freezes everything pretty much closes down cause it turns pure ice and most roads are downhill. Actually very scary! Snow not too big of a deal there. I lived in Seattle, WA for a while. Now in SE WA it is very desert climate and last year didn't snow too much just really cold and icy. This year it probably will snow a lot seeing how 3 days of summer only reach low 100's. Only 3 days of 100 degree temps is very unusual for us. When you grow up driving in snow though it is amusing to see peoples reaction to people who don't drive in it much.

though there's even mission debriefing dialog for Ashley if Kaidan died on Virmire, not to mention the 'Last Stand' scene, if you left him to guard the bomb :crying:

Oh, that was from a cut-content scene where the crew all gets really drunk and starts joking around, pretending that Kaidan would die sometime. Bioware decided to cut it out because they thought it was in poor taste, seeing as how the same thing would happen to Ashley later on in the game.

Again, a cut-content scene where Kaidan re-enacts Ashley's death to honor her during her funeral.

(Note: I should make it clear that I'm just kidding around. Ashley is one of my favorite characters. I wanna save both! :crying:)

I seriously can't wait for this game anymore! I have actually put in holiday at work so I can play all weekend. *fingers crossed* that I'll get's it off.

ME3 comes out during my Spring Break, so I have an entire week of no obligations in which to play it.  ::dances::  They did the same thing for Dragon Age 2.  That first weekend in March is a great release date choice. :D

Just so you know, I'm jealous of all of you who are taking time off.  :kissing:  Tuesday is my late day at job 1, and Wednesday is my looong day consisting of job 1, long day at job 2, lucky to choke down some dinner before 10 p.m.  You all had better post some tidbits or, even better, screencaps.  Or...or...I'll have to suck it up.  :P

We can still get snow in March, right?

Ah but you shouldn't be jealous of ZG or me, we live in the UK so won't even be getting the game until 3 days after you................... :crying:
