sorry to be a wise-ass, but Liara wouldn't be in an N7 coffin
and theoretically it isn't Shepard either as they didn't find his body after the Normandy blew up

and Kaidan's rank insignia mean it's not ME3 related, I guess ...

I honestly don't know, just thought the thread needed some humour

You would have to send my mind off in that direction, wouldn't you? I think we can definitely assume that Kaidan would have a nicer "O" face than that.

Personally, I'm not that bothered by Ash's look, since I think it's her more glamorous one for the purpose of the trial (and I expect Kaidan to have his equivalent of Ash's jacket look too in the Earth section). Plus, I do get their explanation that VS holds much more high-profile position now thus the more sophisticated look. And it's not like the outfit's really THAT sexualized. Just my 2 cents...

@Bekkael: The middle image is her casual outfit, I would say. Check the left side. That seems more like her armor. And she has her hair back (probably in a bun, just like we now it). The middle pic is the outfit from the "get shep off of earth"  vid/trailer. I wouldn't worry too much : )

Edit: Fail expert is me. :mellow:I thought you were talking about the consept art pic. Anyways, still don't think that is her fighting appearance

I hope you guys are right, that she just got caught in her fancy clothes due to the sudden reaper arrival. I think I would rather leave poor Ashley to R.I.P. than see her character turned into something she's not.

I would really love to see the Kaidan equivalent of that scene. When are they ever going to release our promised FemShep trailer?

They, for PR reasons, could have had a funeral with an empty casket. Wouldn't be the first time in military history that occured.
