I'm not bothered by her look if that is casual. She was at/near a trial and wasn't expecting Repears to show up. So that could be a casual outfit vs spectre armor. It's just I really liked Ashley!! She was believable as a soldier and they made her sexy with whatever armor she had on. I don't want them to turn her into Miranda. I want Ashely in Spectre armor...of course the female version of it. Ugh I guess we will see. Plus during our trial we aren't going to be in armor or is the black outfit during the trial our casual.

what Shepard wears during the demo could be something he slips into once the Reapers attack instead of most of it being what he wore on trial with some vest thrown over it for protection

Hackett seems to imply wearing Alliance uniform, though it could not be meant literally and it's just about taking responsibility for wiping out 300.000 batarians in order to stop the Reapers

maybe we get to pick what to wear
while many people were unhappy with the forced cooperation with Cerberus, some seem okey with it ...
so Alliance, neutral but formal or Cerberus?

I read that it isn't actually a trial, more like a tribunal or something, so I don't think it would require a formal Alliance uniform.  I hope we have a choice in outfits for the hearing or trial or whatever it is too. I'm going in a bunny suit so Kaidan can feel free to pet me.

I am just bothered about the hair in her face. As someone who regretably tried bangs and am growing them out, I can attest to the utter annoyance of hair in the face/eyes. I couldn't imagine trying to be a soldier with that kind of hassle. As much as I'd love my Shep to have my cascading hair, for RP purposes she gets the bun. But I guess if Ash has a helmet, that will solve things.

On one hand I understand, on the other, I disagree. He's not reponsible for ME only. He deals with every BW franchise & game. So I'm not really mad if he doesn't know absolutely everything about ME universe, DA universe, Star Wars universe and everything else that comes out of BioWare. Heck, even some developers who work only on ME sometimes don't know the details.

Mine aren't really long right now though, you can see my eyebrows and my hair appears to be channeling Tennant-Doctor today.

I got excited when I saw Natalie Portman-Shepard with the facebook FemShep voting. I knew blondieShep would win that, but I hope that particular short hair will be available to my own Shepard.
I like simple and practical short hair, nothing prettied up.

This. I had to sit through the torment of introducing someone to the game in the summer and poor Shep had the whole ruby red lips, rouge turned up to eleven, eyeliner, greenish eyeshadow and a funky statement 'do going on that matched the colour of the lipstick. My Shep's brown haired, tied back, good ol' plain Jane.
