Nothing that isn't asking for it anyway. He can blow up as many Reapers/Husks/Cerberus people as he wants.
I'm conflicted, should Kaidan suddenly become popular. On the one hand, I want everyone to realize how amazing Kaidan is and come and gush over him with us, and on the other hand, I don't want to share him with people who didn't recognize it from the very first game. Isn't that ridiculous??

Nope, I am, and always will be, the exact same way.

Sorry, mind interpreted that in such a wrong way...
Anyway... more people liking Kaidan is good. As long as they don't make him a dudebro along the way. That's my fear, that they will go overboard making him badass. Badass is good, bombastic is not.

You got a point. Hopefully people won't say "why wasn't he like this in the first game" or other such rubbish. Even if they do, we can all sit back and say "he was, you didn't pay attention". Unless they change him in the wrong way.

I just got the brain camp convo.... and its amazing how he put it all behind him and went on to become a alliance officer..
Oh... did we forget he KILLED someone with a single biotic kick that shut down the whole program?
Not just injured... kicked a well trained turian biotic in the face and killed him.....
O_O
I'd hate to see Kaidan mad.
Its that Beware The Nice Ones attitude that's totally pulling Charlie closer to him *swoon*

So, ah, I know folks were saying it was a bad idea to keep posting at that GamePro article, but I kept at it anyway, and the writer eventually acknowledged the validity of my analysis of Ashley and Kaidan's characters. Gasp! I'm rather chuffed. :-)
Good on you for being so patient. When I saw his response to my last post I honestly just wanted to bit*hslap the guy. He positively excels at being persistently abrasive. <_<

lol Whoever wrote wins. When they put it that way everyone whines.
Jacob: "Waah! You can wash laundry on my abs!"
Shepard: "Waah! I died!"

honestly, I've been getting this impression for a while now that they pretty much assumed that the only people saving Kaidan on Virmire, would be femshep players that romanced him. :/
I should also mention that my brother is straight as a ruler, thus getting rid of that misconception's corollary. Lol.

Aw, man, TOP! What do?

Anyway as soon as I saw Kaidan, even though I knew he was the only romance option (sadly I knew about virmire watching my bf play), I still went for him and wouldn't choose anyone else if there was a choice.
My team is usually Kaidan & Ash/Garrus.
Also watching an old epsiode of CSI got Raphael Sbarge in it again, he's just too sexy! *swoons*

Wait until they announce who will and will not be the same sex romances and then again in March, with the "OMG OMG OMG! Guys! Guys! Kaidan did/said *insert awesomeness*!!"

My boyfriend saved Kaidan, but then again, he also wants to romance him in 3jeweledleah wrote...
if my husband ever decides to finish his ME1 playthrough, he's most certainly saving Kaidan. (my pragmatic dear found him more useful then Ash in combat - his team was basically Kaidan and Wrex, and he appreciated Kaidan's quiet, insightful nature ). but I just don't think Bioware expected cases like that. at least its what it felt like to me. it seems though that they have most definitely learned differently since then

I was a late comer to mass effect well Bioware really. When i booted up ME1 for the first time I got so confused by the menu that I thought you could only play Sheploo! What a "newb" I was.
