Sorry for ever mentioning the S/S debate, okay guys? Let's just look at pictures of Kaidan and all hold hands and get along, mkay?
Edit: And coincidentally, I made popcorn a minute ago. Not that it has anything to do with anything, I just saw Batteries' popcorn picture.

First you say you don't want any old characters to be available for s/s romance and then you say you're gonna be happy for us? Can you blame I don't buy what you say?MegaBadExample wrote...
Actually, I wouldn't mind it if Kaidan became an S/S romance or Joker. I won't lose any sleep over it, but I'd rather they not be. To me, those two characters have been straight for the past two games and are fine. I like them both. If somebody has to be the male S/S romance I want it to be Vega. Why? Because he's the knew character, so no 180s.
We've got a smaller squad this time around so I'm thinking they'll be one male S/S romance and maybe two female because Liara is already one. But who knows. And if Kaidan turns bi in ME3? Hey, that's great! I'm happy for you guys. I'm simply saying that Rapheal said twice "Female" and "madam" Which made me think Kaidan wasn't available for S/S romance. Sorry, I think I'm bringing you down again. You perception seems to be already messed up if you think Kaidan's surprise reaction in the Liara scene would be a confirmation of either his hetero or bisexuality lolsesheta255 wrote...
I think that it messes with our perceptions and understanding of a character. DA2 did that with Anders, although to be fair he was also melded with Justice.
Bro, You're making this into much more than it needs to be. After I heard that log, It came across to ME that Kaidan isn't an S/S romance since he said "Female" But what do you care? You'll take it your own way like you said, right?
Yes, I said I would prefer it if old characters didn't turn at the last minute. They're fine the way they are and I know them that way. But hey if Kaidan turns I'm not gonna start raging over it. I'll accept it. Somebody is obviously gonna be happy about it. Good for them.
I can promise you, I won't care much either way.

But you cared enough to post the 'news' and how you 'don't want to be a downer' both here and in s/s thread? You're not a regular in either thread so don't be surprised if I'm suspicious about your intentions. Especially since I know you're an Ash regular AND you don't want s/s Ash. And as we know, any information about one VS may likely apply to the other one.MegaBadExample wrote...

@Isaac: Our impressions of a particicular scene are obviously subjective and based on our experience. You know nothing about me or what experiences I'v e had but now I feel you are making a personal attack on me and my intelligence and understanding because I have a different opinion to you.IsaacShep wrote...

Ahem. Yes. I'm all right now. Really.
Three-piece suits are my Achilles Heel. That was the visual equivalent of a sucker punch. Only in a good way.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go plunge my head into a bucket of ice water.

I like how you pick apart my words. Hehe, I posted back because you reacted the way you did, starting all of this, when it doesn't need to be. I simply said of how it came across to me. And now look where we are.
I'm obviously bringing you down bro, again, I'm sorry. And you can take my intentions whatever way you like. The reason I don't post in those S/S threads is because it doesn't interest me as much as it interests you, if you must know. Now you're making me go off-topic. Shame.

No sweetheart, I 'attacked' your belief that your perception is the only correct one and thus would be 'messed up' by bisexual Kaidan. And I also 'attacked' the argument of yours that Kaidan's reaction in Liara scene (which didn't deal with Kaidan's own sexuality in any way) somehow would actually be a proof what his sexuality is.sesheta255 wrote...

Isn't it true that a non-romanced Kaidan for a female Shepard gets a handshake on Horizon while male Shepard gets a hug, no matter what? I know that my husband, who saved Kaidan because he thought he was cooler than Ash, was pretty surprised when Kaidan grabbed him on Horizon. He was all like, "Wow Kaidan, I didn't know... "
But anyway, my point is that doing it that way kind of paves the way for Kaidan being S/S in game 3. I hope he is. No reason he shouldn't be really. If he wasn't gay/bi in your game, then he still won't be. And if you wanted to romance him and couldn't, then good for you if you finally get your chance.

First off, don't call me sweetheart, I'm probably old enough to be your mother and I find it condescending. So now you're telling me that I can't have a belief, or in fact state my beliefs or opinions because they might differ from yours and thus are obvioously wrong.IsaacShep wrote...

It was you who stated 'it messes our perception, just like it messed up Anders'. By this, you claimed your personal opinion/perception as it's the true one.sesheta255 wrote...

Unromanced Kaidan gives Shepard a handshake, male or female.
Romanced Kaidan gives female Shepard a hug.
If male Shepard gets a hug, the game was either modded or there's a glitch.

Really didn't wanna get into a S/S romance debate with someone as passionate as yourself, because most of the time it goes in one ear and out the other.
