For a start, by the use of the word "our" I was in fact replying to a something Lady wrote, and giving my opinion about people in general and that we all have different perceptions and undrstandings of particular events.  I'm sorry, I didn't realise that you couldn't read between the lines and take it as a general comment.  At no tage did I ever say my opinion was the only one, or the correct one.  You chose to go along those lines.

I also tend to take most things that people write on here as their own personal opinion unless it is some info that they are sharing (often with a link), so I don't feel the need to write "in my opinion" on every post I make.

I've never made any attempt to hide the fact that I don't want Kaidan to be a s/s romance, but I should be able to state my opinion without your condescending and belittling tone.

Oh, and fyi the comment I made about Anders and his melding with Justice was meant to explain his personality change - me saying that it wasn't necessarily entirely due to whether he was bi or not.


And now I'm done on this subject. It's not worth continuing a petty arguement that really isn't going to get us anywhere.  (Oh and I mean everyone by the use of the word "us" not just us two.)

Why don't you finish that thought, and explain how you think characters change, if their sexual orientation isn't what you perceived it to be?  If Kaidan or Ashley are still written the same as they were in ME1, in every other way, but have new romance options, are they "ruined", even if you never, ever take that option?

I really wish we wouldn't have this discussion here until things are confirmed, but if you really need to bash bisexuality, you might as well get it over with, and stop dancing around it.

Since I play on the Xbox, the only way I know how to get a picture is by snapping it with my camera and they don't come out so nice looking.  And I don't like getting into the whole s/s debate, but why don't they just say who is? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how who is romancable is spoilery. I mean, we already know everyone is coming back in some capacity. That way there wouldn't be so much speculation...which can lead to arguing.  And can someone please tell me what o/s stands for. I've seen that a lot and haven't the faintest idea what it means. I'm not that old, I should know this lingo...

@ Teenzombie - that would depend on how romances are implemented. pulling Tali with either Kaidan or Ash (aka I've been yearning for you all these years) is IMO very much a character derailment, while "I thought you were attractive, but didn't consider a relationship at the time - lets start fresh" would be plausible. again, my opinion.

though I'm not seeing exactly where anyone is bashing bisexuality, here. other then - he'll be straight for you and gay for me dichotomy :/

and since we're talking sharing our Shepards and Kaidan's?

I very much support bisexuality with NEW characters. Can we just drop this whole thing already? I don't care enough to continue discussing this.

My first playthrough was a modded maleShep who romanced Kaidan in ME1 and stayed faithful to him in ME2. I'm not sure what a modded shep import might to to the file import flags for ME3 but I took the advice of forumers with a lot more ME experience (I only started playing a couple of months ago) and did an umodded maleShep playthrough who did not romance any female characters in ME1/ME2 and made Kaidan the VS.  I'm very curious to see how both Sheps will fare in ME3.

Is it March yet?

And I should be able to state my opinion without you repeating the same "so I/he/she can't have an opinion?" whenever I or anyone else happen to disagree with something you said or an opinion you share. The nature of the discussion (esp. on hot topics) is that people discuss/respond/comment on each other's opinion.

@jeweledleah - she is pretty. I always had so much trouble making a passibly decent looking Shepard in ME1, lol.

And I love how Kaidan seems to be giving Garrus the evil eye for looking towards Shep in that pic, lmao
