Depends on how you mean.  As far as I know, there's a chance to shut down the romance before it starts (... two, actually, in the same conversation) and you can miss the Citadel conversation for a nice, clean platonic friendship.

Thanks. I asked thinking about KawaiiKate's possible scenario for new FemShep/Kaidan romance in ME3. Some people think ME3 will "assume" certain things like that you've turned down Kaidan in ME1 (even if you didn't) and I kinda can see it happening, means that you would get the same "But you've turned me down before" dialogue from him in ME3 no matter if you did or not.

Horizon. That much is true. And considering it is established he snaps only when he cares for someone, it's once again perfectly logical to interpret the Horizon scene as a possible sign of underlying attraction.

Okay, I went back and found that. If you read the entire context, it's clear that that was said in jest. Criz-Zone was worried that the manShepKaidan material was offensive, and Dhiro replied that if manShep/Kaidan is offensive, then so is femShep/Kaidan. And that's a legitimate point. Either we're all welcome here, or no one is.

Yes, all forms of Kaidan-love should be acceptable here. That includes your love for Kaidan/femShep. Please, please, post your images of KAidan and femShep, I would love to see it, because I'm a fan of everything Kaidan. Do I prefer manShep/Kaidan? Absolutely. But I love Kaidan so much that I actually made a femShep (which was a first for me) just so I could romance him!

Spread the Kaidan love. Male, female, it doesn't matter. Honest.

For what it's worth, I haven't gotten that vibe from reading that thread and all of my Shepards have been hetero thus far, male and female.  It just so happens that a lot of the current posters are more interested in mShep/Kaidan, possibly because most of the older Kaidan fans with FemSheps are trying to avoid the spoiler section of the forums.

lol, I'm more interested in Kaidan/manShep as of late because it's an actual POSSIBILITY rather than the fevered dream of a madman. In the past, I've been more interested in Kaidan/femShep, particularly when we were still hoping for a Kaidan-centeric DLC like Liara's, but lately I'm really enthusiastic about the manlovin', if only because I've been waiting for it for so long.

Eh, just give it time... I'm sure that this thread will come back around to femShep/Kaidan dominance, especially once Kaidan is reunited with all of those faithful femSheps, like mine.... *longing sigh*

I have to say that as a long time Kaidan fan I have mostly avoided this thread because of the bias towards bi/gay Kaidan.  I personally don't want to see him as a s/s romance, or as a new romance in ME3.  I don't like seeing pics of him and sheploo, but then I'm not overly keen on the femShep/Kaidan pics either, I'd rather just see pics of Kaidan.  And yes, I know I can 'just scroll past them' as I'm sure some bright spark will suggest,, but its difficult to do when they are constantly quoted.  It's also difficult to do when almost every post is about Kaidan being gay/bi, when all I really want to do is keep up with any Kaidan news.

To me, it would seem totally out of character for him to suddenly express an interest in male Shep when he didn't before in either ME1 or on Horizon.

Still wondering about the scars of that Jeff Zalzali model we thought could be Kaidan's face model. I mean, how much of a coincidence could it be that a guy who looks so similar to Kaidan also happens to have a scar under his lip? Granted, it's not the same scar, but Sheploo's head hair scar is also different than his real-life face model has. Maybe Jeff's scar was an inspiration to do something similar on Kaidan? Wish BW could tell us something, if Kaidan even actually had a face model

Looks like just hair/lighting thing to me. There's that one magazine scan when he looks completly different at first sight, but after someone corrected the lighting it was clear it was still his face.
