I think they mentioned something about improved character creator?

my favorite ME1 team is any class Shepard, Kaidan and at this point actually Liara (asari ally run converted me). I used to run Kaidan and Garrus and Kaidan and wrex, but my god, Kaidan and Liara together... its basicaly sit back and watch the show

I haven't been able to get on the computer in days and it took me forever to catch up (still didn't get to read everything I wanted). That audioblog was great, and the voicemail to Shepard sounded like something Kaidan would say. I missed a few pages listening to that on repeat! Thanks for the link @IssacShep!

I'm sure by "rip your heart out" he either meant he recorded a part of the "bad ending/reapers win" sort of ending or a "it's so emotional and <insert positive word here> that it'll rip your heart out."
Hard to say really.

Question for oldies. Anyone remembers where it was said they're saving Liara and VS for ME3 (as in not allowing them to die in ME2 & ME2 DLC)? It was said before LOTSB was released but who said it and where? Anyone remembers?

Trust issues? Yeah... I think Carth has a reason to be untrusting at the start of the game IMO.

Know this is a few pages back (boy this thread moves fast!), but wanted to say:

Guess I'm the only one who prefers 1 to 2?  Come to think of it, same for ME!  I loved parts of KOTOR2, loved Kreia, loved HK's idea of Carth, and loved Bao-Dur (another voice that is ear-pr0n), Atton and Hanharr .  I thought the story was a mess, maybe because I couldn't understand it at times.  Do wish they were going with KOTOR3, but will settle for the MMO. 

And completely agree about the trust issues.  It goes overboard many times, but Carth had pretty good reasons for being pissed at the world IMO.

One more random thing: Jeweledleah, you're not looking forward to playing a kung-fu panda in WoW?

CaseyH-ME2: We actually want to make sure these characters survive the ME2 story, which ultimately is a suicide mission: some of your crew will almost certainly die. Some of the ME1 characters are back, and recruitable (more than you might think), and the ones that aren't still play an important role in the story and will be around for ME3 - which we can't say for the new characters.

I don't remember sorry. I think we just came to that conclusion.

Finally broke down and listened to the audio blog. I think I'm going to cry thinking about a diffcult ending for ME3. I'm a sucker for tragedy, and tragic love stories but this one might kill me.

We're all thinking along the lines that Kaidan dies at the end going off the info in the audioblogs. I'm actually tipping that it will be Shepard that dies. I will not be happy id Kaidan has to go through Shepard dying again.

ME1 squad - usually Kaidan and Garrus, or Kaidan and Wrex, regardless of what class Shepard was. I never bothered with the others, lol.
ME2 squad - all my ME2 Sheps are either adept or sentinel and the SM team is usually Miranda and Thane.

I loved KOTOR, and while I enjoyed many aspects of KOTOR 2 I did not like them messing with the ending I made up (female LS Revan + Carth Onasi forever). It's why I'll refuse to read this Revan novel that's coming out - it's totally not the story I created, and it's too damned late for them to be changing it on me now.

As for the ME3 ending - I really, really hope that just this frakking once the heroes actually get the happy ending they deserve. Seriously.

Edit: Oh noes, my first time on ToP and I don't know how to include a Kaidan. Halp!
