Well okay, Varric WOULD say that but then Cassandra would look at him very perturbed and probably throw another book at his face.

But for ME3 I want a nice combo of emotional and sexy. Simliar to ME1. There was the right amount of nudity. There was this wonderful conversation before hand. And the build up before that, ei. the locker scene. Very nicely done. I even love how Joker interrupts them. I kind of hope it become a running joke in ME3.

I always got the impression that Kaidan didn't intend on sleeping with Shepard when he went to her cabin. He came there to let her know she had his support. They just so happened to knock boots. Though I 'm sure it was on his mind.

Yes.

That is what I dislike about Garrus' romance even though I love the guy. It all starts out just on the idea of sex and basically everything Shepard says pertains to boinking the turian. (Liked his end scene though. When Shepard wasn't speaking )

I'd also like for any final romance scenes to be more flexible at when they happen instead of always having that fixed point at the end of the game

For some reason if marriage or at least a proposal is in the game I want him to propose to my Shep. I am just a traditional kind of person I guess when it comes to that (But I won't change my last name and don't want to be walked down the isle by my father). That and it just seems more romantic if they ask you.

Than it would involve my Shepard saying yes, but at the same time hesitant as she doesn't know if they will make it out alive, so it might be too big of a promise to make.

I'd imagine if any proposal happened he would use it to give Shepard a little extra motivation to survive, as a reminder Shepard has something/someone to live for.

At this point in time in the game I think that most of my Shepards are so orgasmically challenged that Kaidan could propose anything and they'd all accept, lmao.

Seriously though, I would just like to see them end up together - happily. I don't care if there's no proposal or wedding or whatever. It worries me that it will end up being cheesy.

Likewise. That being said, I want to say  'congrats!' to the femSheps (and their players) for getting their dose of Kaidanlovin' for ME3. It has been said that Mr. Sbarge did record lines that pointed to a s/s relationship with Kaidan. For now I can take comfort in that. All I ask of the femSheps is that when they finally get their hands on Kaidan, go easy on him, ok? Tearing off his uniform with just your teeth may spook the guy. 

I would think that Kaidan would want Shepard to tear off his uniform  if you... think about it... Shepard was the only one for the... what... last 3 years? to... get Kaidan... to..- OK! that's it! if I go on any further I'll bee to embarrassed for Kaidan   Just know that our Kaidan is waiting for Shepard like Shepard is waiting for Kaidan  now kids if you need to know what happens next...

I adore Ashley......... always have done....... If I could save her by sacrificing someone/anyone else I would.... fact 
But (racist comment aside) it is funny.... it is funny in the way that the cartoon about Shepard getting the whole team back and Kaidan is a skeleton because he was Virmired is funny. 
If we can laugh at Kaidan we can laugh at the others, we've paid our dues in the Kaidan thread over and over again.........

Yeah Jacob is a character that really grew on me, i now think hes the best done romance of me2, something about the way he talks to shep, like he sees her as a person and not 'shepard the awesomist person ever'. I'm currently doing a playthrough of cheating on kaidan with jacob, mostly paragade, because i really want too see how me3 handles it and because im kind of curious about myself as to which ill pick by the end of 3 (its all about the dialogues baby!). I really hope for romance playthroughs the less popular LIs aren't sidelined to one/two missions and some short dialogue. Current alliance loyalist vs disillusioned alliance quitter, spectre vs cereberus operative, refused to join shep vs loyal and whatever it takes, other than that two fairly similar guys who i could easily picture being friends under different circumstances.......... angst ahooooooooooy!

Funny thing.... I always make a single Shepard to romance Jacob.... I don't why ~ a combination of not wanting to cheat on Kaidan (mostly) and thinking that Jacob has had enough to deal with romancing Miranda in the past (she's got to be high maintenance, right? ) So Jaocb's Shepard is only that... meaning that he and Kaidan can be friends. I only cheated the once with Thane for the whole ''seeing the consequences'', thing... which tbh... with all the new info on ripping our hearts out, I'm beginning to think no one is coming out that one unscathed 
If I have to choose and can only save one, I don't what I will do............

LOL, this has me absurdly pleased, because I hope it's in reference to the fact that Kaidan is the most paragon member of the crew. Or I'm reading too much into it. But it would be nice.

Ah.  True.  I didn't think about it being from Varric POV having an effect on how the love scenes were shown.
But overall, I loved the Anders lovestory.  The passion in his kiss has me hooked on his character.  I hated in DA2 how you couldn't go up and talk to your LI like you can in other BW games--even when he was living in your house!  Anyways, back on the topic of Kaidan...

Exactly.  I think they had the love scenes in ME1 just right--well, except for dubbing in the "Joker is waiting for you on the bridge" line that didn't belong. 

Jill:  I would LOVE it if a proposal was part of the story--provided we don't have him then self-sacrificing later or something.  I also don't want Shepard running off into unknown parts of the galaxy after some threat without him like was done between KOTOR 1&2.

Me too.  I didn't like that if you wanted to marry Alistair in DAO that you had to manipulate him into it.  I would have much rather him ask the Warden instead.

Hmm, not sure how I'd feel about that.  I have a pretty large variety of Sheps with Kaidan, and while my canon would gladly agree to marry Kaidan, at least one of my Sheps would go "Uhhhh what".  I wouldn't mind for Shepard to be able to bring it up, though, ala Liara's "little blue babies" conversation.
