 So, um... do any of y'all read my collaborative fic with Jillyfae and Sapphyreelf?

If so, we've updated it today with a Shenko Chapter.  Persephone Rising: Chapter 31 is now up.  

I actually would like to know if y'all do read it.  We haven't been advertising here since it seemed to be futile.  If some do read it, and like our notices of updates, we'll keep linking it here.  Otherwise, I hope y'all have subscribed.

@Jenova I made a single Shep for Jacob too. As to anyone who romanced someone in ME2 getting left out....well, isn't that the treatment all of us ME1 romancers got? I have romances from ME2 that I would like to see some resolution to (Thane and Jacob) but I won't hold my breath for a lot of inclusion. BioWare seems to like to do: "Here, have this nice, shiny romance! You love it, right? Great! *snatch* You can't have it anymore LOL!!!!" It wouldn't surprise me if the ME2 romances got a bit of that treatment. I hope I'm wrong though.

@Sia I haven't read that one, but will add it to my list as it sounds like a super fun premise!

Seriously, with the galaxy at stake, and all organic life hanging in the balance, I don't think there's time for interrupting smooches or snu snu. There better not be. As much as I love Joker, I will shoot him in his brittle foot if he interrupts Shep and Kai again. I'll do it!

LOL, this has me absurdly pleased, because I hope it's in reference to the fact that Kaidan is the most paragon member of the crew. Or I'm reading too much into it. But it would be nice. 

Looks like either because he's the most paragon or because he's the most level-headed.

@ A proposal, it could be very corny or very beautiful depending how they do it. For me and my Shepard, Zody, then hell yes! If its not going to be in game its in my headcanon. However, there are people I know with Shenko romances who don't want to marry him. Not because their Shepard doesn't love Kaidan but because they don't think their Shepard is the marriage type.

I'm sure there are several endings for Shepard and Kaidan. Marriage very well could be one. But we have to remember Kaidan is a Spectre now. His whole reason for joining the Alliance and probably also for joining the Spectres is to "do some good." He won't give that up nor would I want him too. Marriage between military personal and non-military is very diffcult. Marriage between two Spectres might be nigh impossible.

After the end of ME3 there is going to be a lot of rebuilding. Kaidan and Shepard will most likely be needed to help re-stabilize the galaxy. Not trying to knock a proposal down. Just trying to figure out how it will work.

Marriage between two people serving far from each other somehow worked for Spacer's parents. With SpeCTRes it might be easier - they aren't only sole agents on investigation mission, but can work in groups, too? Or that was justicars, my memory doesn't cope with blood temperature.

Anyway, Kaidan is a nice guy and all, but Sentinel on solo mission? They're more supporting class than investigating or assaulting.

lol I agree Victia & I would do the same thing! I am sick of all my protagonists "disapearing" after they saved the world! I really hope their is a choice to have a Shep+Kaidan happy ending, I think they both deserve a happy ending after everything they have been through. That is why my goal for my first ME3 playthrough is to try and get the best ending possible for my Shep & Kaidan.

Whatevs, Joker/Shep/Kaidan 3TP would be my favorite ending.  I would never play any other way.    Though we already know that Kaidan is not a big threesome guy... sadness.

I'm ecstatic that in the past week Kaidan's fans have been given so many interesting tidbits about his character.  It's definitely a welcome change.  And piqued my interest in Mass Effect once again.

I did!  Glad you girls didn't decide to wait until Ilos for your Shepards to get a little action.
