Hello! You may know me from other places, like Raphael Sbarge's audioblog and Twitter feed.
I figured I'd invade your territory to ask YOU a question: You know that request you have regarding the Horizon letter?
Well, what if I were to say I could make it happen in exchange for donations to Raphael's charity, GreenWish? How much do you think we could raise? Would a challenge of $1,000 be too high? (I'll put all the details up as soon as we settle on a goal.)
Deal! And at the risk of using an overworked cliche', that sounds like a win/win situation. Count me in!

I'm left-handed and can't draw. Even my stick figures look deformed.
I'll write a little something, maybe. I need to ponder...
Yep. I'm totally you if you are a short, pudgy American!
@Lady, lol... you're welcome?

You know, I think the healthier Kaidan fans are the ones who haven't come into this topic. None of us can deny that we're a bit crazy and/or obsessed at times
You think we aren't healthy? We're just vocal whereas some people choose to be quiet about their obsession, but that doesn't make them any less obsessed, just sneaky. :innocent:

Agreed....... and how do UK fans go about this?? Because you know.... for a start we know nothing about this charity.....TS2Aggie wrote...
Hmmm, instead of a time limit, how about just the donation limit? Once we hit the target of $1,000, we get our reward? Would be a little less stressful for the people that have jobs and bills to pay at specific times of the month, methinks.
ETA ~ Nice to see you here, Jacqui, hope we don't disturb you too much with the fangirling, after all you still have to look at Raphael normally

This sounds like a very doable goal. As soon as you have the details worked out, I'm so there.

Not that his voicework isn't worth it. Just trying to be realistic.

How many people do we have on this thread that will actually donate? 10? That would be $100 a piece. Maybe 20? That would be $50. Seems like a bit of a high goal to me considering the number of regulars we have here and that gamers aren't known for having a lot of free cash.

If we spread the news through sites like twitter and Facebook, and create banners, I'm sure we can get more participants than just thread regulars. Even folks who don't care much about Kaidan might be inclined to donate to charity if it's pointed out to them. I'm not usually big on social networking sites, but for this I'll make an exception.

I doubt it would be just the regulars on this thread that would donate. If we could advertise this (i.e. word of mouth) to other communities (such as LiveJournal and Twitter), we could probably get a fair number of donations that way.

Nope. Word on the street is that if we try and fail to meet the goal, we will all be tarred and feathered.
...That was a joke. [/EDI]
