So yea they were all pissed it's just so much time has gone by and the other one feel in love with someone else.

Dunno if Meghan's in love yet with her best friend, per se, but she considers herself dumped.  The letter was just cruelty as far as she's concerned.  The word "loved" broke her on Horizon.

Anyway, my point was that it wasn't just the "haters" that have an issue with that letter.

Avery saw it as hopeful, Meghan saw it as heartbreaking.

Kaidan had spent two years getting over Shepard and starting to move on with his life so to me it seemed like a better word in the situation than 'love'. the poor guy was shellshocked at seeing her and everything he thought he knew just came crashing down around him. It would have brought back a lot of the pain that he thought he'd put behind him.

I fully agree! :happy:  My shepard wanted to tell him after the SM that she was no longer with cerberus and she wanted him to come back  but bioware didn't allow that

That is the whole crappy situation that we couldn't respond or go back to the Citadel and talk to him. Plus everyone agrees that the writing kinda forced us into a situation. Our dialouge options sucked!! I would never go up to someone I was in love with and say, "Hey Kaidan....How you been?" OMG!!<_< In fact I might say screw this I'm going with Kaidan but then how would we get to the base? How would we have gotten that lovely data for all the nasty things Cerberus has done in the past 5 yrs if TIM didn't send us after that Operative. Can't wait to see how I can blackmail TIM ^^

Yeah, my kids were laughing at me because at the end of my first playthrough I ran around the Citadel and I was yelling at my monitor and at Anderson "c'mon, I've dumped Cerberus now give me my Kaidan back". I think I must have checked out everyone sitting in the Dark Star lounge about a hundred times, lol.

I did almost the same thing Sesheta. First thing I did after coming back from the Omega 4 relay was go straight to the Citadel. I re-talked to Anderson, went through every level of the Wards, every shop, etc, trying to see if I couldn't find Kaidan.

Bioware why couldn't I stand under his window and play Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes?" WHY?!
